It would be a real dick move if they wouldn't. But considering its wasn't a preexisting condition, he shouldn't need to worry.
I'm so glad the surgery went well. The alternative is much too frightening to begin to imagine. I hope the results that come back bring good news.
break on through to the other side!
Hahaha. That's almost as bad as two weeks ago when I had to go to the doctor because I had a piece of pita bread stuck in my lower esophagus, and he gave me this fizzy stuff that made me vomit into a sink. So I know exactly what you went through bro.
There, finished a post... http://www.foszor.com/blog/2011/04/home-again/
Through in a picture of my terrible haircut too
Good to hear the surgery went reasonably well.
Nice tats by the way.

I have pretty good insurance... I guess spending into it for all these years will finally pay off.
Who the fuck are you?
You don't remember my name, granpeppy?
:smith:
His mind is going.

This happened to my Dad, except with a piece of steak. All they did was make him drink soda and it was washed right down instead of making him vomit.
Well, best of luck in the future, mate. You seem to be doing fairly well, given that you did have a chunk of your skull removed. Here's to hoping it's easily treatable.
Good to see you back man. I've had a life threatening surgery as well, and let me tell all of Facepunch that it changes you. When I finally got home and it was time to sleep, I cried. I cried because, apart from only being in the third grade, I thought I might really lose it all. I will never see my family, my friends nor the people I could have had an impact on in the future. And it made me realize that life is short. These past 17 years have been a ride for me. I've had my ups and downs but when it when things get tough you find yourself thinking about everything differently. You think that a third grader can't have complex emotions but those few months really changed me both physically and mentally. I find myself thinking that I could die at any moment, and while I may not go out and have parties all the time. I do take everything I have and treasure it because for all you know even reading this post could be the last thing you do. So I want face punch to take a moment and think. Think about who you care about and those who care about you. Remember even the worst moment in your life and find something good about it. There is always something good even in the worst moments of your life. There are people out there who are worse off than you and they make the most out of what they can. They do things no one else wants to. They do it not because they are brave but because they have the will to bring themselves through for the sake of themselves and others. Not once in my life have I thought my life was bad. I have friends, family, food, shelter, and a whole bunch of things I have wanted. I may have thought a few times that I was unlucky, but my scar is a reminder that I am one of the luckiest people alive. I have survived and learned to thrive. I am shy but I encourage myself to get out there and talk to people. I have fun doing it. And I laugh when it feels uncomfortable because it's a thrill. Standing up in front of a group of people who are silently judging you scares the crap out of me, but when that's over and dealt with I feel accomplished that I have done it. Facepunch, you should take your life look back and smile. You have done many things even if they didn't come out the way you wanted them to. You have come so far and accomplished so many things. Don't let anything bug you because you are accomplished, you have done more than you could ever imagine even if you can't remember. So treasure every moment you have and live on knowing that every step could be your last, but also your best.
Thanks god you're back.
You made it man. :buddy:
We are happy for you.
Sounds like I'll have the results from the biopsy today. I'm extremely scared.
You want a title?
A Xoom sounds like a nice idea too.
I would go for the Samsung Galaxy Tab, though.

There both very nice devices, but I think I would prefer the size of the XOOM.

Don't start this :v:
Hope the results turn up good for you man. Hopefully this is the end of what you've been through and you can just get back on track. All the best to you.

Good luck out there, you're gonna need it...
But considering its wasn't a preexisting condition, he shouldn't need to worry.
The problem is that lot of doctors are slimeballs and argue with you that your problem was pre-existing condition despite the evidence. My grandma got a hernia the day after she got in a head-on car crash and her doctor insisted that was a pre-existing condition. My dad twisted his knee, and the doctor insisted that was a pre-existing condition.
hey,
From the bottom of my heart,I wish you good luck.
If you need someone to talk to pm me and ill give you my email.

I thought you can't be denied based on pre-existing conditions in the US anymore
I came into this thread assuming it already happened and I was going to make a reference to the Cenobites from Hellraiser.
I feel like an asshole now. :frown:
Good luck.
