My mom used to be assistant doc for an Oncologic Doctor. I often went with her to work because her boss was really friendly.
I got to know many patients. Some aren't anymore and a few fought cancer succesfully. I sometimes see this elder guy who had a tumor of some sorts(I don't really remember) and we have little talk. He is a good person.
My mom's former boss used to give me a scrub and a few syringes when I was there. I liked him. He died last year of cancer.

I cried a little when I read your latest blog entry. I wish you all the best, and I send nothing but good thoughts your way! You have amazing people around you..! Again, I wish you nothing but the best!
It is truly something as cruel as this to bring out the best in people, and I feel incredible sorrow for what is happening. I'm not religious, but I really do hope that someone is looking over you; and that it is great to see family and friends being very supportive in this dark time.
Keep us updated, and I also personally hope you will get through this as strong, happy, and healthy as you possibly can be.

Our school held a Relay for Life event last night, from 7pm to 7am. If you don't know what it is, it's where each team of 10 people raises $100 for each team member, then everyone walks around a track all night, to symbolize the struggle of dealing with cancer. All of the proceeds go towards cancer research (Canadian Cancer Society). Our goal for the school was to raise $52,000 dollars, and we raised $72,000 for cancer research.

Well, I've cried twice due to cancer-related incidents now. One was the death of my best friend when I was about ten. Now, I'm crying not only from the fact that you're going through this, but that you're so humble while it's happening. The fact that you're going through this and being so humble amazes me. I remember when I was 12 and had kidney stones, I really started to think about death. Now, I know kidney stones don't usually kill, but they do hurt, but only physically. I have felt what my mother says is the equivalent of giving birth, but I cannot even begin to fathom the emotional pains you must be facing right now.
