I know this may sound dumb, but could stress possibly result this?
It's very difficult to comprehend going into a surgery knowing you can speak, then leaving and unable to do so. I hope it all works out.

"tunnel vision"? It's a pretty common symptom for a number of issues, if my Wikipedia surfing is worth anything - brain tumors being among the least common.
IDK if you lose the ability to read and type if you lose your speech part of your brain, hmm.
Good luck OP, what will happen will happen.
Hopefully they'll remove just the tumor and be able to leave the "speech part" intact.
Good luck, hope to see some updates soon.
Good luck bro. I hope you pull through alright.
Good luck OP, we're all wishing you all the best :buddy:
So sad :c
Hope everything goes well for you.
Hope everything goes well. My aunt got paralyzed after she got her surgery.
I've never been knocked out for surgery, but people say you just wake back up like nothing happened
Stay strong OP and don't lose faith, things will turn out just perfectly for you as long as you believe in it!
I wish you the best of luck and Godspeed :unsmith:

That sound so weird.
Unlikely things do happen in neurosurgery, there's a guy named Ben carson that had to remove the ENTIRE right half of a young girl's brain and when she woke up she was completely fine, I shit you not.
not trying to be distasteful or anything, but you should see if you can get a picture of yourself with your head open. or of your own brain.
I still remember the thread about your wife and the awesome relationship you both have! I still remember how you looked on that picture and how your wife smiled.. I hope that that picture won't change, best luck man.. I hope you be the one you were before after that surgery.
In 1987, Carson made medical history by being the first surgeon in the world to successfully separate twins (the Binder twins) conjoined at the back of the head (craniopagus twins). Operations to separate twins joined in this way had always failed, resulting in the death of one or both of the infants. Carson agreed to undertake the operation. The 70-member surgical team, led by Carson, worked for 22 hours. At the end, the twins were successfully separated and can now survive independently. Carson's other surgical innovations have included the first intrauterine procedure to relieve pressure on the brain of a hydrocephalic fetal twin, and a hemispherectomy, in which a young girl suffering from uncontrollable seizures had one half of her brain removed.
That sounds like what Smug Bastard is talking about.
Godspeed.
Even though I believe in god, I still hope he does exist in situations like this. Hope everything goes well, friend, good luck.
Get better soon man your tuff you can make it
Good luck, hope to see the thread about how you recovered soon.
Holy shit OP, good luck.
I wish you the best of luck.
I love it when FP comes together like this... Good luck man, hope everything goes OK. And thank God we're in an era when this kind of stuff is possible and it's not just "Headache? Derp, drill a hole!"
Fun fact- most brain surgery is done while the patient is awake. The brain feels no physical pain when operated on.
That was a dick move.
Damn, I've always thought brain surgery is pretty scary. I mean, its one of the few places that if something goes wrong, it can seriously affect everything about you.
Good luck.

I have. Not for surgery, though. Different procedure I'd rather not get into.
This pretty much holds true, except for the fact that you're pretty dizzy for a bit while the anesthesia wears off. Your limbs feel a bit noodle-ish too.
Best of luck, OP.
Damn I accidentally rated useful on my phone. I bet you will be good as new when done. <3
Good luck, OP. I hope you get better.
Even though I don't know you, I wish you the best and genuinely hope that everything comes out fantastically for you and your family. I know that nothing bad is going to happen, and the surgery is going to go just as planned. Good luck, and remember that we are here for you.
I also left a little note on your Steam page.
