Why, did you see it and didn't get it or do you want a short summary. There's not much to it, it's more of an adventure movie.
Village is in trouble because Raiders are threatening to kill them if they don't give them enough rice or something, so they hire some Samurai to protect. Huge battle etc
Also various sub-plots, like a love story or the background of Toshiro Mifune's character.
Spirited away?
lol up against the sink? how you can get hard over mundane shit I've been working on this since like 5pm
Master of the Flying Guillotine
The Battle of Red Cliff (Chi bi).
Asians don't make movies.
That one movie that's basically a Korean version of Braveheart, I forget what it's called.
It was awesome.

It's the same movie as "Seven brave men", since that movie shamelessly ripped of The Seven samurais.

It's a remake, I think. Haven't seen it though. Is it good when I forget about the original?
watch battle royale 100 times

Ichi the Killer.
Tadanobu Asano's performance is most notable as Kakihara the sadistic Yakuza member that enjoys seeing other's in pain. He cuts off his own tongue, it's on YouTube.

Most epic film ever to see.
Fireball is good. Basket ball without rules.
Harakiri
Dodesukaden
Ghost in the Shell
EVERYONE SHOULD SEE TETSUO:The Iron Man.
Uzumaki?
Yeah sure if he's masochistic.
Fuck that movie sucks, ugh.
If you're into war movies, get "Otoko Tachi no Yamato". It's a Japanese war film about the battleship Yamato and it's crew. Critics have hailed it to be equal to Saving Private Ryan in terms of greatness, but it has only been released in Asia so far.

No it's not. I saw it with Swedish subtitles at least a year ago.
This thread is absolutely great. Any japanese noir movies or something? I liked The Long Goodnight a lot. What are good movies with Tifune?
You should watch Ran, it's a great Japanese War Drama, the last epic Akira Kurosawa made and was the most expensive Japanese movie ever made in it's time
I've never watch it but I saw a really good fight seen of a film called Versus.
Itchi the Killer
a rediculously violent japanese gangster movie
WORSE than kill bill
worse as in more violent

Its on youtube in pieces,
Also Sukiyaki Western Django. Its shakespeare meets samurai, meets the wild west with Tarrantino as an otaku gunsmith.
Also ping pong if you want a more serious film.
Legend of the Drunken Master - Chan gets drunk and kicks ass
Godzilla - Doesn't require explanation, it's Godzilla for Christ's sake
Hard Boiled - Some of the best shooting scenes are in this movie
Way of the Dragon - Even if it doesn't really count, it's got Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee. That's all that matters.
I just realized that MI 2 is by John Woo 0_o
Is it better than the first, then? I hated it.
Has anyone seen Invitation from Cinema Orion? I saw it on a flight to Japan and it was one of the best movies I've ever seen. The thing you can't even buy the movie with english subs
Ip man is fucking epic.

Not sure, I've only seen the third one and didn't really like it. John Woo did do Broken Arrow, and I really liked it.
Hard Boiled
Funky forest.
That is all.
