I thought it was just normal that everything goes a bit dotty and moves around when I stare at a solid colour.
Since I can remenber, whenever I closed my eyes or was in low light, I could see this "digital noise", I always though it was normal and that everyone was seeing this. until a few years ago I found out that it was not that normal. But still a lot of people can see this stuff and get anoyed by it. I have Snow-vision an Tinnitus, and I got used to these. It does not bother me at all, and most of the time I don't even notice them. Just something you got to live with, so I dont mind it. If I did mind it, I would be insane right now. :S
I don't get floaters, but I do see starbursts on all lights. I get a little visual snow, but it's pretty hard to notice.
I get horrible starbursts. Makes it horrible to drive at night. Can't see anything past the headlight glare, or brakelights or even streetlights.
i have starbursts and tinnitus (i think), i dont know if what i hear is tinnitus or if its normal, but i got used to it, my case is very mild
I see colored visual noise at night like noise in cameras. And also I see white as light pink. Floaters are rather rare and if I get, I usually get only one. Never seen starbursts though
I thought the OP was talking about TV snow.
I only get visual snow in low light, good to know other people have this too.
Being well rested and calm increases the clarity of my vision, so I don't doubt it's possible to have noise in the signal from your brain. But chances are there is no such thing as not having it and people who say they don't are too stupid to notice it. And since there is no way to scientifically measure it and no way to make sure someone knows what they're talking about you can't really know this. Heck, there probably isn't enough photons in the world to see in the dark without noise.
If you took a picture in a low light area and set the ISO to like 800 that's what it looks like constantly for me.
I only get that when I have a migraine.
I always thought floaters were bacteria living on your eyelids, not a disorder..
I have floaters and pretty bad visual snow. It's so noticeable when it's snowy out, the blank white landscape just makes the visual snow so easy to see. I don't quite know what starbursts are. [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline] It's like I'm playing L4D 24/7.
When I was 8-12 I used to see lots of flashing dots like TV Static on the ceiling and walls when I was in bed at night. They usually were a signal that I was going to have a nightmare as I didnt have them all the time, only when I had nightmares after. :saddowns:
[QUOTE=LSK;26455708]I always thought floaters were bacteria living on your eyelids, not a disorder..[/QUOTE] It isn't really, floaters was what made some people believe there was water on mars as telescope reflections amplify them extremely.
I follow my floaters to pass time in PE class [editline]3rd December 2010[/editline] I get floaters when I squint
I have pretty bad tinnitus at times. I always have a background ringing in my ears but sometimes I get these attacks, I'd guess you'd say. It surprises me every time and hurts. I can't hear shit for several minutes after one happens. Only my fault though. I listen to loud music, hunt and shoot without ear protection, and I've had several explosions happen near my face.
I seem to have a light case of menieres.
Jesus christ, this isn't normal? I've had this in quite a serious form all my life I just thought everyone else could see the same thing Woah

Ugh i hate floaters I get it when ever i look at lights.
I have floaters and when it's dark I can see static. You don't see me bitching about it like a pussy.
I thought I could see bacteria and I had super eyes up until age 8 then I discovered Google and I found out about "floaters" My reaction?... Shiiiitttt
I had floaters when I was little, but now they're gone. However, I've got a pretty bad case of snow, when I stare at a white surface or the sky I can clearly see it, and I can't see shit in the dark with all that motherfucking snow.
I'm fairly certain I have this, I can see static where ever I look. It never really effects me though, I've just gotten used to it. However that could mean that I don't actually have it and that I'm over analyzing. also i hear tinnitus but im prob. over analyzing that as well
When I look in the dark I see little static and does not move unless I look around.
My Dad has Tinnitus
I have tinnitus and something similar, but I ignore it. I can see just fine, I'm able to read this thread too.
I get floaters occasionally. Not that big of a deal.
I thought these were all normal. I get the static, I get the floaters, and when it's dark and I see a directional light shined at me (such as an oncoming car) I often get the starburst. [editline]3rd December 2010[/editline] Fuck now that we're on the subject, I can't stop noticing it.
