If you want insane visual snow, close your eyes and gently push your thumb into the side of your eye in the eye socket, watch the fireworks, open your eyes after too.
I don't know about you guys but I started seeing wireframe grids and neon signs resembling real-world objects like cars.
I've got floaters and visual snow. Floaters weren't that bad a couple of years back, but now they are at a point where it gets annoying.
That's pretty cool actually.
I have the floaters and Tinnitus.
When I was younger, I used to think that I was seeing cells floating in my eye fluid.
So on rare occasions do people see small bright white orbs in your vision probably about the size of a plastic BB on comparison to the size of your vision? I really want to know if it's not just me.
In certain temperatures you can see what looks like the reflection of light off of water in shadows coming through windows, and if you look outside you see what looks like the heat waves from the summer. (this happening in winter/the mid season between summer and winter)
I get this extremely severely in the form of a "vortex" static- which is where it looks like there's waves of static drawing into a central focal point all the time, if you're looking at a one-tone surface (especially blue and low-light surfaces, though). I used to terrified of a child of the dark because of this.
Wow I get this too, never met anyone else. It's nice though, basically crosshairs on your eyes, I used it while snowboarding yesterday to focus on where I wanted to go.
I have all of those symptoms but I can't see that static.
I get floaters alot. I like to try to follow them. I always fail...
I get all of them, except the visual snow is more like visual rain.
After I'm running for a while, I can really REALLY see the static, especially in the sky. Looks like fireflies <3
As it is I'm pretty sure I see it all the time but it doesn't impair my vision too badly.
I get floaters, also noise in darkness.
I have all of these. It sucks.
I actually thought I had super microscope vision. Goddamn floaters.

I used to be convinced I was seeing bacteria somehow magnified against my pupil. The thought was so awesome.
I have all of these, but the tinnitus isn't really too loud.

I recall seeing what appeared to be a wireframe sphere in my early childhood when I would stare into the dark.
I get starbursts a fricken LOT! Every single fucking light I look at has a starburst. I also have the sound ringing one too. And sometimes I get a random gray tunnel kinda thing form in my eyes, almost as if i'm going blind just randomly for a few seconds and then it goes away. That is usually accompanied by loud ringing in my ears too.
Aren't floaters shadows on the back of your eyes?
i dunno if this has been said, but if you close your eyes and put pressure on your eyes, you can see floaters and stuff.
holy god it's like taking lsd or something
I dunno if this has been said, but if you close your eyes and put pressure on your eyes, you can see floaters and stuff.
I have all of these.
When I was younger I thought floaters where bacteria floating on my eyes.
You have to admit the two look incredibly similar.
I fucking hate floaters.
Why?
Your eyes = microscope
I hate floaters, they are annoying AND I CAN"T LOOK AT THEM!!!
The weird thing about my Visual Snow is that they don't change like regular TV noise.
I get the shit in the dark all the time, having that with tinnitus is hell when you try to sleep.
Hold your fists or the soft fleshy part of your hands on your eyes apply a bit of pressure and sit back and enjoy.
Hehe my floaters are shaped like a question mark :buddy:
I see floaters every once in a while, but after reading this thread, I am seeing snow everywhere. :ohdear:
I've got snow and the glare thing, but I don't get eye floaters, only when I look at a bright light for too long do I see 'a burned image' into my eye.
Most "floaters" are known to be caused by vitamin A difficency, or malnutrition in general, though it can be caused by other things. If you eat a lot of starchy foods, meat, fatty foods, etc. and not enough green veggies, you aren't really getting proper amounts of vitamins, which can cause floaters.
If you take one of those multivitamins daily for several weeks / months, it should generally decrease the amount of floaters you get, unless you have a more severe eye problem.
I have the second two problems, and this bizarre one:
I once got sweaty and discomfortable, like I needed to sit down really bad. Then my vision went almost like comic book pixels? And I could barely see shit. I was so fucking scared I was going blind. It went away after I sat down for a few minutes. Any idea FP?
That's either a blackout / brownout:

Or a mild bout of shock. I used to get brownouts frequently when I was younger, and still get them once in a blue moon. Brownouts I experienced were generally vision fading to a central point accompanied by what I would describe as a waterfall sound. They're usually caused by having low blood pressure and quickly performing a strenuous action (ie. getting out of bed very quickly, standing up quickly from sitting, etc.)
The safest thing to do if you experience a brownout is to either sit down or lay on the floor with your legs propped up on a chair to allow blood to circulate properly again. If you keep moving around while in a brownout, it could turn into a blackout and you could faint and hurt yourself falling on something.
