I see floaters only when I look at something bright for a prolonged time. If I am in the dark, everything is fuzzy.
I have starbursts. It makes looking at any light really annoying because it basically makes it 3x bigger then it should. It probably has something to do with being near sighted.
Floaters drive me insane, what the fuck are they?
fuck you op, i never really paid any attention to my visual snow, now i can't stop fucking seeing it, i think i'm going to go crazy
I love threads where I find out I'm not crazy. I get those floaters all the time and was going to ask about it soon.
What are the shapes that I see called whenever I close my eyes and rub them for a long period of time? Is that visual snow too?
I have both visual snow and floaters. Especially when I look at snow/something white, the "visual snow" seems to pulsate towards one general direction. THEY NEVER FUCKING GO AWAY. :(
I have visual snow and slight tinnitus. :ohdear: It's really annoying.
I get floaters when I go from a relatively dark interior to a bright exterior ( sandy beach during a sunny day or snow during a sunny day ). Don't get noise or bursts though.
I get all of them, except the static is EXTREMELY EXTREMELY mild. I can BARELY see it in the dark. I'm scared
Same, I have floaters that rarely appear, static when I close my eyes, and I always see lightbeams when I look at Christmas lights and candles. They get worse when I squint.
I get floaters and starburts, in fact I have a bunch of floaters right now. I also have a bunch of other weird things. Maybe someone can help me out because I've spent years wondering what these are. Blue stuff when I close my eyes and in dark places I see a faded blue color and it makes random shapes. sometimes its just a blob everywhere and other times (bare with me) it kind of collects from the sides and disappears into the center, and repeats. it can also make weird shapes too. Flashes of light As well as the blue stuff I've been seeing random dots or flashes of light since I was like young. I just randomly see a flash of light that can be colors, mostly blue, red or white. A few years ago I saw a bunch of small flashes in a couple of minutes and a few weeks ago I opened my eyes while trying to sleep and I saw a massive flash of white light (I thought someone shined a spotlight into my face). White Dots I was working out at my martial arts place and I pushed myself until I gave out. I stood up and my sensei started talking, but I completely ignored him because I saw all these bright moving white dots everywhere. sensei caught me not paying attention and gave me pushups lol. Hallucinations again, I was at my martial arts place doing a form with some of my friends and they have a fist logo on one of the walls. I was standing right beside it looking at it and it looked like it was coming out at me for a few seconds. freaked the hell out of me. Something similar to Tinnitus I have a very faint Tinnitus, I can only hear it when its really quiet (like dead quiet, pin dropping on the floor quiet). I can also hear another sound, it sounds like the highway from a distance (without all the beeping and stuff, just cars moving). really weird because I grew up a couple of hundred feet from a highway. I could go on but my post would take up an entire page. My eyes randomly unfocus, I *think* I saw something run by very fast but not fast enough to fully see, random faces and people popping up into my mind, etc etc etc. All very weird stuff. edit: might as well add another one in. in the dark sometimes I can see these little red dots. they kind of look like a train traffic light that is black with the red light on.
I have floaters but I only see em when I really concentrate on looking at them
Floaters are fun, weeee!
I got visual snow, 'cept it's kinda coloured...sometimes. I also got floaters and starbursts too , I used to think floaters were worms! Here's a neat trick: Have a Bead of water on he edge of your hair and focus your eyes on it, it goes all microscopic. I can also vibrate my eyes fast! My eyes are messed up. Oh and I also have super loud tinnitus due to bad ear infections as a young kid. I just ignore it.
:respek:
That is very interesting, i almost always have a slight TV-like static in my vision. Mostly in remotely dark environments or environments with relatively low artificial lightning. I am more then used to such an effect and is quite comfortable with it. It is always present in my vision, i simply listed the environments in which it is mostly visible. I was most definitely always curious about a scientific explanation. I have perfect vision at the moment, but it always had a grainy character to it. I was actually not aware that it was something unusual.
I get floaters and usually when I've just woken up, I get the starburst too.
Yeah, I get it all as well. [editline]04:20PM[/editline]
Hate those floaters. Scared me as a child, thought they were worms in my eyes :(
It's funny because it could be.
Floaters They pop up now and then and move along with the movement of your eyes.
I see these little shits time to time.
This might sound a bit far fetched, but a while ago I read an article or saw an interview with a certain scientist that had an idea to cure blindness and deafness. The idea was that while your organs might not function your brain still, so that a certain dream world could be created that visualizes the images or sounds. This got me thinking about visual snow, cause when I dream I don't see any noise either (Or any of the symptoms that accompany vs ) So wouldn't it be possible that with certain stimulation that a filter could be applied that filters out the noise. Any pseudo scientists around that can explain if this is possible or not?
I get every fucking one of them. The static is actually worse during the dark.
Oh finally i know what its called, i have fucking sever visual snow.
I get them all except the snow.
Did test in op, got level 8 snow
What the hell is floaters anyway?
I get floaters, too, but never the starbursts. Also, took the tests, the snow density for me is about 8-9.
Get some Tinnitus here and there, last 30 seconds then disappear, but I never got any other stuff described here. Funny, when i put my headphone, i hear some mini-Tinnitus, but then when i remove them, its gone. floaters sounds funny. Do someone here see some like sugar balls when they close their eyes, they look like the ones you put on ice cream, they are hard to see and disappear in like 1 seconds
I see the floaters, and any light source gives off those rays. I also see that static stuff, whilst looking at anything. Its pretty noticeable but I forget about it after a while.
I get pretty noticeable visual snow at night, and I get floaters like most people.
I have snow density 4 and flicker rate 1 :frown:
I have EVERY single one of those symptoms and I'm fucking scared. Fuck. [editline]11:09PM[/editline] Snow density 4 Flicker (Like) 7 Only changes every so often unless im in the dark
