I personally find working hard throughout the year tends to be more helpful than cramming for the test in the last few days leading up to it.
Bit late for this advice though.
SAT Subject Test on Chemistry in about 12 hours
I'm about to demolish this test
So I'm in AP ELC and I'm doing fucking dreadful in the class so I decided not to take the AP exam because it would just be a waste of $100. These past 2 weeks and all of next week my class will be doing practice multiple choice tests and essays. But what will I be doing? Taking a nap that would make my cat jealous.
[editline]3rd May 2013[/editline]
nap so hard mothafuckas wanna wake me.
I took five last year. U.S. History, Bio, Spanish 5, Stats and LANG. got a 5, 4, 1, 3 and 4 respectively and now I'm going to be taking Physics B, Calc, Microecon and Gov. Really I just need to focus on Calc since UC Berkeley won't look at my science scores since that's my major.
One thing I love about doing AP 2d Art?
No actual exam, just a deadline for the portfolio.
Just took my SAT... Had a migraine right as we hit section 6 and my allergies didn't really help. I hope I did well, it felt rather easy.
If any of you live in New York and are considering a SUNY school I can always offer a tour around Binghamton if you're considering this school.
AP exams lol. I have to take the god damn MCAT next year :smith:
The only AP class that I'm going to take is AP Music Theory during senor year because I don't think I could handle the work
AP Chem tomorrow bright and early in the morning. My class got dinner today. I practiced with the 2008 test and got 4. I'm hoping I don't get buffers, thermochem or kinetics. Which are guaranteed to be the first three questions. I'm good on my reactions, 5 and 6 are atomic theory and molecular structure, also good at that. Next year I'll have AP Calc, Spanish, Gov, and English. Time to follow my labels and check my green sheet.
Did 5 and 5 on AP calculus AB and chemistry last year... Ends up university of Toronto (engineering) didn't accept APs.
This is the exact reason why I think schools should stop pushing AP onto students and instead push dual enrollment. With dual enrollment, you get college credits if you pass the class no matter what. No taking an exam and MAYBE getting credits. The courses you take a real college courses, so you get real college credit.
Also AP Chem and Psych exams tomorrow. fml feel like I'm going to bomb them both.
My school doesn't push AP on students (in fact, they make dual credit classes far more appealing). Only my sophomore english teacher pushed me to take AP Lang + Lit (which was what I was going to do anyway)
I have AP Environmental Science tomorrow morning. Then next week German 4 AP, AP Macro Econ, AP Gov, and AP Euro.
Party Up.
For those taking English AP or APUSH (US history), don't worry too much they are pretty easy.
Good luck for everyone taking AP Psych tomorrow!
Totally demolished the AP Chem test
They made me take the Comp Sci exam today.

You should report your school. They are not allowed to do that and you'll get a re-take.
AP Environmental was literally Hitler. Rest in peace hopes of a 3, kill me now.
I'm taking AP Music Theory on the 13th. I'm a drummer by nature so the dictation's going to be a bit challenging, even though my class has practiced that at least once a week this entire year.
In other news: My ACT scores came back today. Got a 28. One less point from the required score of a fully payed-for scholarship from the state. Scored in the 91st percentile, though.
AP Chem Exam: :suicide:
AP Psych Exam: Not bad. FRQs were shit, didn't know most of the terms on them. MC was pretty good.
lol AP chem, halfway through part A on the free response after bumbling through the first question - 10 minutes remaining! that was not fun.
I've got AP Computer Science tomorrow. I know the material perfectly fine, but the way they ask questions worries me since I'm not really used to running through code in my head since I usually let the IDE point out bugs for me...
Didn't know half the terms on the first Psych FRQ. What the fuck is center-path persuasion (or whatever the fuck it was)?
I hope you guys are having fun. In about a year, these scores won't even matter. (Well, maybe for credit of course, but other than that nothing else.)

It's really worth it though if you end up getting credit at the college you attend. They can satisfy ged eds, make your workload easier, or even let you graduate earlier.

My friend was telling me about how the AP chem test was easy, then they got to the free response.

Everyone I've talked to they've said that the FRQs were damn near impossible. I dunno why, but I feel extremely confident about my FRQ answers. Like, I managed to get coherent answers for most of them (cept organic chem)
[sp]Of course this probably means i got a 2[/sp]

So I did it this morning and it went pretty smoothly. Had a few difficult questions around the end of the multiple choice that I was forced to make educated guesses on due to time constraints but the Free Response questions were incredibly simple.
Who's totally not pumped for the English
This guy
