but really it's because me and him both know im prone to having psychotic breakdowns and that the hospital is a bad place for me to be for the both of us. they had the brilliant idea of slamming me off all my meds and putting me on one, i was on at least 4-6 at the time (me and my shrink didn't like the idea and we were planning on weening me off anyways, the dumb fuck cocktail was the idea of the shit doctor at the program i was at). especially brilliant considering this was the decision of some flunky psych ward doctor at one of the worst psych wards in this area and my shrink is one of the best around. that and they fuckin dont allow music which is the one thing i need to get through any situation.
really any "good" doctor won't give you any "good medication" unless you absolutely need it. just the difference between a good doctor and a doctor who has a hard on for not prescribing the right shit based on dumb fuck qualms of it being to good or addictive is that a good doctor will know when to prescribe it. and the dumb fuck doctor with the hard on doesn't and drags giving someone with severe anxiety benzos the fuck out with bullshit offlabel prescriptions with tertiary anxiolytic effects
that was very informational and interesting, thanks for the insight.

Yes, and one more thing to add is that some healthcare companies frown on doctors prescribing certain meds. I know my Kaiser shrink kept trying to steer me away from xanax (which works extremely well for my anxiety) and kept trying to insist I take a different class of drugs instead. I eventually found out that this was not specifically her, but Kaiser itself.
It took a fuck ton of convincing and being my own advocate to convince her to at least give me klonopin and call it a day.
Some docs like prescribing all sorts of strange combinations to avoid a specific class of drugs that can knock out a bunch of the problems in one go.
You would think that all doctors would be almost on the same page, but a lot of doctors are not even in the same book when it comes to prescribing certain classes of drugs.
yeah dude i had the worst doctor ever.
a medication for side effects didn't work? the dumb witch cunt kept me on it and prescribed another.
Another question.. what about salvia (probably 10x) with my condition? I don't see any problems besides that it can raise your heart rate based on the trip.
I have a heart condition too. There's really nothing to worry about, the only thing that I could think of is the strain from coughing.
I asked about this in the question thread but I'm looking for some more input. So I have a heart condition, aortic stenosis in particular. This means my aortic valve is more narrow than others. Because of this, my doctor doesn't allow me to play competitive sports besides something like baseball. Honestly, I can do all of this without any issue but it's just in case. Anyways, I am just concerned because I know it can cause tachycardia and mess with blood pressure. I'm not planning to do it now but maybe sometime over the next couple of years and I'm not going to ask my doctor about it (even though I know I should). Opinions?
Be honest with your doctor. If anything, ask about your relevant confidentiality laws. Doctors are usually required to keep things confidential, even from police, which means they won't report you for asking a question or getting a test done. My friend got tested to see if he was allergic to THC and he found out he is, so he gets incredibly stoned off a small amount of weed (The more he smokes, the longer he stays stoned).
Better safe than sorry and I'm sure your doctor has gotten the same question before. It could be worse, you could be asking him to look at your junk, so try not to think too much of it.
Don't smoke too much. Just don't take MDMA/cocaïne with it for 4 months and it should be okay.
