I ordered a leather holster for my C96 so I can keep it near me while shooting on my buddy's ranch (big range). It looked ok in the pictures but it had a dubiously low price and is made in China, so we'll see what happens. Should be here in a couple weeks. Allegedly it's a reproduction of a WW2 era Chinese military holster designed to let you fire it without removing it from the holster, but I can't find any source on that so who knows how true it is. [t]http://i.imgur.com/CE3XNjR.jpg[/t] If it's even kinda ok quality (at least real leather) I can fix up the rest with my tools and age it a bit. On another note, I went to pick up the shoulder stock I had made for it last night and it ended up not fitting since he sized it with his Bolo and didn't realize the Broomhandle grip is fatter, so the butt cap wouldn't close around it without gouging my original grips. So he's correcting that. I'll post pictures Sunday when I go get it.
I undercut the knuckle guard of my glock as well as the trigger guard to accommodate my fingers to fit properly into the right position for me to activate my tac light. The little hump is very very slightly un even but the actual grooves are very precise for a hand job with the dremel in about 15 minutes for each cut. Took some 400 grit and then 600 grit to smooth it out and took a lighter to the edge to make it even smoother. It will also be cerakoted in a few months so it'll cover that up after they sandblast the frame. [T]http://i.imgur.com/VrUM0rx.jpg[/T]
my 10mm nigga. cz 97 in 10mm auto when?
idk but I totally want this https://eaacorp.com/portfolio-item/witness-polymer-p-full-size/
idk why ppl 10mm what is wrong with 9mm +p????
idk why ppl 10mm what is wrong with 9mm +p????
The 10mm is just stupidly fun and awesome. It's the "because fuck you that's why" cartridge where we can exceed .45 and also have a purpose for it. This gun is a godsend for taking down most types of game and 4 legged threats.
"Just because" is always a good reason to buy a gun.
"Just because" is always a good reason to buy a gun.
I legit bought it as my sidearm at the deer lease though, we have some big boars and hogs out there. I'd like something that'll knock it down quickly.

Just like i don't need a S&W 500, but by god i want one just because

what are the differences in the coating? if none, i'd like the gold one and the gunmetal one to the right of it. also the more i read HvH shit, the more i salivate at the thought of a good select fire AR lower (four position like the taiwanese one? yes plose) because i can just buy a heavy barreled upper to use for random shit shooting and have actually expensive uppers for practical shooting and not fucking around. specifically one of these, but hopefully you can get a heavy sellite-lined barrel so you can continue shooting as the barrel gets red and the hand guard melts.
i want one of these bolt carriers just because
I think the bronze one would look good.
Going for a trip to the range later this month with my Dad and hopefully see if he'd be interested in taking the hobby further. Any tips for that?
Make good friends there and have them let you shoot their guns which you don't have. Helps so much get new people into shooting when they can feel new items they don't shoot often.
It's like looking at the custom color page in Forza...
Or the latest Desert Eagle catalog.
My brother and I went clay shooting to test his new toy. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9988278/IMG_0258.JPG[/t] [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9988278/IMG_0265.JPG[/t] This is really not an ideal gun for shooting clays, but somehow we couldn't care less.
I'm always surprised by how big SPAS-12s are.
Is that a stove pipe or just an unfortunate picture?
A mix of both, really. The ejector isn't very good. You have to really pump it to get it to throw the shell clear of the gun and that was one of my first shots with it where I hadn't quite learned that yet. The place we shoot at has certain restrictions as to the maximum load of shells you're allowed to use, on semi-auto mode it wasn't even attempting to cycle with the shells we were using. My brother has a box of high-power shells that he thinks will make it work, but we've got to wait untill we get a chance to shoot on private land before we can try them.

Don't think we can shoot other people's guns. Not sure if it's a club thing, but it's called a 'P650' day.
I really wanna buy 2 glock 19's, go out to a private land/field and just learn how to dual wield 9mm's. I feel like for some reason, that would just really test my hand-eye coordination just for shits and giggles. And maybe just give one to my dad to replace his old G23 which is gonna be a bit hard for him in the future as he gets older and doesn't practice with the .40 enough. But then again, he also used to conceal carry a fullsize 9 ( 92 FS )
Dual wielding is fucking hard and dangerous, it's too easy to get carried away.
My 20th birthday is coming up soon and I can't decide between getting a good finnish nugget(M39 maybe) or a Ruger GP100. I saw a GP100(4 inch barrel) for $500 brand new, which is what a good finn nugget would cost me. I've always wanted a .357 magnum, but i also want a gun that eats really cheap ammo that isn't as hard to get as .22LR.
Finally got my SLR104. [editline]2nd August 2015[/editline] I know you all love updates [editline]2nd August 2015[/editline] [t]http://i.imgur.com/j9rA3wW.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/wKq9dpf.jpg[/t]
Dual wielding is fucking hard and dangerous, it's too easy to get carried away.
I would be doing this completely alone and in a very safe environment, no people around and no targets that would ricochet in any way.
Would a Glock 17A be a good entry gun, or would I be better off picking up a .22?
Would a Glock 17A be a good entry gun, or would I be better off picking up a .22?
Given you're in Australia, you have to pick what your pistol club shoots.
