Stock, new trigger shipping in now. How easy is it to replace glock triggers? I suppose I could pay someone to do it, and I want it done right.

Just a new trigger or connector too?

Would it be stupid to get one of these for my USP tactical if I don't use a supressor? I really like how it looks, but as far as I'm concerned it's not going to help very much with the recoil. At least not with the .40 cal. So I bought a Remington UMC M1911 that some retard had put a ribbed rail thing on top. He had tapped the slide to afix it. I want to put on original sights but it looks like he grinded off the front sight and filled in the rear sight groove. So what do you guys recommend I do? The gun is in good enough condition, I wanna save it and bring it back to how it should look. I know a gunsmith can fill in the holes, I'm gonna call one tomorrow or Monday. Look what I picked up at the gun show guys. [t]https://i.gyazo.com/4a923b42a58c21cd013651cf25910a71.png[/t]

Hopefully you don't the same results that one dipshit using a crappy grip. Who knows, maybe he had a Hand in his own demise.
I always wanted one. I know they have a sketchy history. I heard the story with the guy(s) who blew their fingers off and I'll do my best to not do that. But generally they're just so cool and generally they're like the perfect shotguns for me. Short, compact, relatively light with a huge capacity. I'm going to shoot it tomorrow so we'll see how it goes. I got a box into it today before I went to work. I had a couple of jams with ejection but it may be user error, shitty ammo or something else. If it's the gun I'll send it back. Like, I know going into it that it may have teething issues. Unlike my fucking Glock 19 Gen 4 which was supposed to be perfection incarnate and it couldn't go through a 10rd mag without pelting my eyes with burning brass.

You might have better results if you rack it with authority or very hard. A lot of people who try to treat it like a wingmaster or a well broken in mossberg never quite get the elevator to feed right Those shotguns leave your arm out farther to put more leverage into running the gun. The KSG is so close to the body, you may not pump it all the way. Run that thing hard. On an unrelated note, I am hoping to win something from that Springfield give away. Winners for the M1a Socom and Scout rifles gonna be picked in 10min.
Just put a VFG on the KSG, all safety concerns now null and void.
Just put a VFG on the KSG, all safety concerns now null and void.
Uh, you know a VFG breaking was the cause of that guy blowing his hand off, right?
Uh, you know a VFG breaking was the cause of that guy blowing his hand off, right?
the vfg broke off but if he wasn't trying to cowboy it he'd still have his hand
Uh, you know a VFG breaking was the cause of that guy blowing his hand off, right?
“No one should be firing the gun without being ready to fire the gun,” he said. “No one should be blindly firing and pumping like that.” One of the ways the guy shot himself in the hand, now of course I have no room to speak since I shot a hole through my window. But at the same time, user error. If you hurt yourself from your own negligence it is all in all your fault. I will admit that the rail actually sliding off played a large role, but it's the same as grabbing the front of the slide of a handgun to rack it and putting your hand over the muzzle. Check your shit before you pull the trigger, same as popping of a round after hearing and feeling a squib load.
my only "issues" with ian is that he tends to completely butcher names of foreign cities, guns, manufacturers etc. i get that ian isn't german or czech, but hearing him try saying such things just is awful. with how high-quality and well made the videos are, he should honestly make an effort to try getting someone to instruct him of the right pronounciation first him being left handed makes for some weird videos sometimes, his arms getting in the way of seeing things, but that's not really his fault lol
You would be hard pressed to find an American who doesn't have this issue, which disqualifies most shooting channels right from the start. I think the only foreign English-speaking shooting channel I watch with any degree of regularity is capandball.

Got to shoot my Howa at 200 today, first time shooting anything past 100. I'm amazed at how much wind actually affects the bullet.
-snip- Very late.
I shot it some more today. It's badass but the chamber is so close to your shoulder that the recoil is killer. First time a shotgun has ever left me bruised and sore. Ontop of that you need to really fuck it. If you don't rack it hard it doesn't work right. I started to break it in, I can already tell that it needs to be broken in well. If you pussy the pump or don't pump it far enough the ejected shell won't clear and will be rechambered into the breach and than you need to really slap the pump with your hand to get it to eject again. I've gotten pretty good at it. But as you can see in the video on my second tube I didn't pump as hard as I should've because I was getting tired. I put like six boxes of shells through it. I had hiccups but the more I shot and the more I fucked it the better results I got. I also made sure to buy a real Magpul brand VFG and not a Chinese knock off. I don't want to lose any fingers or a hand.
It's not just the attachment you need to worry about, the rails on the pump are polymer and I saw someone using a vert grip break the rails off the pump.
Would a magpul AFG work better?
I have an AFG but I don't think I'd prefer that. As far as an AFG being safer, I don't know. Maybe there would be less leverage to torque the rail into breaking eventually, but you could also hypothetically let your hand slip no matter what grip you use and the same thing would happen. I'll just be careful. It's a range toy mostly. I keep it loaded next to my desk incase of something nuts but chances of anything actually happening are low as shit.
Man, I did not realize how close to the barrel your hand is on that thing till I saw that video. I don't think I could do that honestly
I've pretty well conditioned myself not to fire if I don't have a secure grip on the weapon. The foregrip on my AR slipped while I was shooting and I aborted immediately. I think you'd have to be being pretty reckless to not process that your hand has come off the gun before pulling the trigger.
