It still wouldn't happen. You're not going to convince 2/3rd of voters to agree to a new amendment over firearms. Plus, have you heard about our Congress? Fuckers can't do anything with a super majority.

The voting polls can be rigged like anything else.
Since the votes are "yay or nay", they can't really be rigged. Not unless you hold 535 people's families hostage.
Even if somehow congress says yes, every state south of the Mason-Dixon will tell them to fuck themselves, not to mention a bunch of angry people would probably kill the entirety of congress if they did vote on it, as well as the legislatures of any state who would vote in favour.
Here in Colorado, we kicked out 3 elected officials last year after they voted for a law that says we can only get magazines with 15 rounds or less in them, but we can keep bigger ones if we had them before.
Just because of limiting mag size. We'd burn down the Capitol if they tried to ban all guns.

As someone who wanted to move to CO before that dumb ban, I hope you guys can repeal that. Magazine limits are super stupid.

Has that mag cap been repealed yet?

There are bills going to committee next week that, if passed, would repeal the mag cap ban and reinstate private sales.
The voting polls can be rigged like anything else.
Not really, when it's a simple 'Vote y/n on amendum x: "The actual proposed amendment verbatim as it would be applied to the constitution."'
Despite what the mainstream swears by; voter fraud is a negligible factor at the national stage accounting for less than 2% of total votes, and the amending process of the constitution is entirely designed not to happen. That's a reason why it's only happened 17 times in our nation's 228 year history. Oh, and two of them were for the same thing that happened less than three decades after each other before women or blacks could vote and the quickest way to receive news from the next town over was carrier pigeon, mind you.
And yes, there was a little sarcasm in that last sentence.
Just so yous guys' know, Armynavydeals.com is having another 50% off sale with .99c shipping.
Most Swat teams have moved from the MP5 to AR-type rifles BECAUSE 5.56 has less of a problem with overpenetration. Box O Truth showed 9mm could penetrate through I think twice as many sheets of drywall as 5.56, because of it has more than twice the mass.

Flesh and drywall aren't the same thing.
I'm confused; this was supposed to corroborate what you said.
It shows the overpenetration of 9mm and .45 ACP JHP after going through your typical interior wall and into ballistic gelatin.
Whereas 5.56/.223 don't; the FBI have stated that a 5.56 AR is the best home defense weapon for this and a number of other reasons.
Also of note is the overpenetration of 12ga buckshot, because everyone seems to think shotguns are a great idea for HD; even with birdshot, at in-house distances, the cloud of shot is still pretty tight and you risk penetrating an interior wall.

I wonder if it was a Glock...
Everyone's favorite "you shouldn't have to fire it to disassemble it because people shoot themselves" gun to gripe about.
Idiots...
I'll be getting my first lever action rifle once my tax return comes back. Co-worker can't keep it because of impending divorce, has to settle his credit card debt, doesn't want to sell it to anyone who'd trash it. So the only person he could sell it to in good conscious was me. I'm really looking forward to it, it's a lever action .30-30, made by Winchester. A pretty old one at that, as long as it has a decent crown and bore i'll be buying it for like 400$
I used to have an old Winchester Model 94; they're awesome rifles, very very fun to shoot. The top ejection is great and adds a lot of charm to the rifle, in my opinion; sometimes you get the odd case that decides to fly right back into your face, but it's a small price to pay for having a rifle that looks so cool to fire. If his was made before 1964, that's a pretty good deal for you.
I e-mailed RWC asking about the rumors about them producing the SVD and SKS

Sorry for the late response but it has been very busy here. We are starting by building the AK here, but give us some time and who knows what we will be making!

Eh, whatever, it was too damn early when I posted this (~9am).
I don't believe in birdshot or buckshot for home defense. 12ga rifled slugs. Or dragonbreath.
Mh. White Phosphorous. In my house. What could possibly go wrong?

Can't decide if I want to build a 16 inch AR or 20 inch AR. Its one of them things, like I would love to have a carbine, but at the same time I want a rifle.

Build an 18 inch and get the best of both worlds :v:

20" if you're going to do long range target or bench shooting, you want an M16 clone, AR10 or a niche caliber AR that isn't .300blk or a pistol caliber or similarly sized bullet.
18" if you want a Mk 12 SPR clone.
16" for everything else, then you have to choose the gas system length.
The production AR market has shifted more towards 3-gunning and LEO/military wanting the lightest, most reliable, capable AR they can get, hence more ARs being 16" with different gas systems, no front sights, etc.
I'm still undecided... I figured I'm not going to be doing super long range shooting with it but at the same time I don't want another generic run of the mill AR15.
I'm looking at buying this so far, opinions for like 500. Its pretty much got everything I could want on it, rail, flip sights

16" Barrel length
416 Stainless steel barrel
223 Wylde Chamber
1 in 8" twist rate
Lead-lapped bore
M4 Feed ramps
MI SSK 15" Free Float Keymod Rail
A2 Flash Hider
Forged Upper Receiver
T-Marks
PSA Aluminum Flip up Front and Rear Sights
I'm also looking at this...I'm kinda leaning towards this.

Need some opinions, as I've only had a regular run of the mill AR15 - It was a Bushmaster Carbon lite (ewww).
In and out of the gunshow in just over an hour today. Found a guy who would trade my wood furniture straight across for some poly.

Nato length stock or Warsaw?
Are you going to give it a rattle can paint job? :D
Terry McAuliffe sucks.
What's he trying to do now? I saw some stupid post on Facebook trying to rile Virginians again about gun rights, but never bothered to read into the bill.
Decided not to go to the gunshow today. Why are all gunshows so fucking early in the morning? 7:30-11:30? Why can't there be one that runs 10:00-4:00?

Because the old fudds that run them get up at 4 am and they have to take their naps after noon.
Where they heck are you that this is the case? All the gun shows I've ever been to open around 8 or 9 and go until about 4, at least on Saturday; on Sunday, they go until 2.

Oh God what is he doing now?
I'm in Britbong land and I'm out of the loop.
