If anyone buys me mad max on steam I will buy 200 Polartec fleece overalls (it'll cost over $110 for shipping) from Kommandostore and post pictures when they arrive.
This post is only as serious as you're willing to make it.

I could just pick them up for you, I work 5 minutes from their warehouse :P

I can't imagine the shipping would be any cheaper. :v:
If the local pickup were an option for me I would probably just clear his stock for the hell of it. Donate most to charity or something.

Why not just buy Mad Max yourself?
Why not just buy Mad Max yourself?
Because getting a $60 video game out of it would allow me to mentally justify quite possibly the most hilariously stupid purchase ever.
Like I said, that post is only as serious as you're willing to make it.
Put all of them on at once.
It also seems completely unnecessary to have a special snowflake gas system like that.

Because it's much quieter.

If you're using supersonic bullets, why does it matter?
If you're using supersonic bullets, why does it matter?
It negates most of the weapon noise at range and for you, but you will still hear the supersonic crack of the bullet.
Makes you harder to find and makes the gun more pleasant to shoot regardless.
People like to suppress guns that don't suppress well, AKs are a good example of that too; but hey, suppressors are fun, so why not?
im gonna turn my m39 into a finnish obrez and suppress it with a duct-taped oil filter
i'll see you all on fox news when i do drivebys down the street with a honda civic and an obrez

It will take a lot of the edge out of 5.56, which is generally a really unpleasant round for anyone around the shooter.
Subsonic 5.56 is basically worthless for anything other than punching holes in paper quietly.

5.56 is piddly compared to a 7.62x54R out of an SVT. It turns heads at the range, and if you stand next to it you can feel the shockwave from the muzzle break hitting you in the chest.
So the ammo shortage begins again
no shortage in my house
What is Bernie Sanders stance on firearms? I've not been following at all.
For future political stances on candidates: this site does a decent (not great, not horrible. Depends on the exposure of the person) job at giving you a general idea.

I've been bad at stocking ammo. Just haven't had the spare cash. What little I had I've been dumping into 9mm that I've immediately been shooting away trying to fix my Glock.
I probably have a couple hundred rounds of 5.56, hundred shells of 20 and 12 gauge respectively. Probably 500 rounds of .30 Carbine, a couple thousand of .22 but I wish I had more. I have thousands of rounds of Mosin food still. I guess that's about it. Less than 50 rounds of .380 and I currently have 300 odd rounds of 9mm I expect to shoot nearly all of in a couple days.
If I wanted to make an AR with accuracy being my highest priority, would I be better off getting a 18" barrel or a 20" barrel?
If I wanted to make an AR with accuracy being my highest priority, would I be better off getting a 18" barrel or a 20" barrel?
.223 likes 25 inch barrels for just full out velocity but it can be 8 inches or 80 inches or anywhere in between and be just as accurate. barrel length only really affects how much the bullet drops, it's the crown or the bullet itself that affects how much it wanders.
Didn't one of you guys have a Zastava m77? How was it.? I'm looking at getting one since non WASR Ak's have this strange ability to gain value. And to have a cheap semi auto .308 rifle.
I fear that recent US shooting plus a shooting just now in Sydney of two cops is going to be the tipping point for more gun control here in Australia.

Please tell me gun violence in the US doesn't inspire gun laws in Australia...

Most lenient of the Democrats from what I've heard.

.223 was designed to run out of a 20" barrel; that being said, it has been shown that shorter barrels can be more accurate because they exhibit less barrel whip.
Manufacturer makes a difference, and of course you can have it fluted and get it with a target crown.
Caliber is up to you, as there are some accurate calibers besides .223 that would increase the cost of an AR build quite a bit (.308 and 6.5 Grendel come to mind).
You'd want it to be free floated as well.

Supports an AWB, but also supports concealed carry, and doesn't support laws the make gun manufacturers liable for things outside their control. He's a fudd, but he's not going to deny you the right to carry protection.

Except for the fact that an AWB would limit the types and capacity of handguns you could carry for personal protection, so he is in fact trying to deny you the right to carry protection.

I do understand that, I hope my comment didn't sound supportive of him. I frankly can't stand him.
