I'm jealous. You got a triangle folder AK. Just out of curiosity, how does the AFG work out? It looks to be too close to use properly.

It works, plenty of clearance, I checked when I put it on; also serves as a good reference point for what angle the mag goes in at.
I love the AFG 1, and I wanted one on my '74 since I did a course with it and found my hand sliding off from a regular underhand grip.
I also unintentionally costa gripped it while doing contact drills, and the AFG was made for that.

I had one on my '74, and it was pretty comfortable.

You're being a massive idiot if you think it has anything to do with how I normally conduct hunting.
It's been said about half-a-dozen times now.

I'm not going to discuss it anymore, it's shitting up the thread.
I don't give a fuck if you normally shoot for the vitals, trying to make headshots on game animals is legitimately stupid no matter if it's your typical hunting excursion or if it's the apocalypse and you're starving to death. you'll almost never get the kill like that and you'll just scare the animals off.
I don't care how good a shot you think you are, you absolutely cannot reliably kill an animal by shooting for the head.
In Ontario, I'm fairly certain you are required to kill turkeys by shooting them in the head. Granted, you're doing that with 4, 5, or 6 shot, not a .22.
turkeys don't move their head much and you're using a shotgun, not a .22
Faced with a bit of a dilemma here. I want to sell one of my 9mm pistols. One is a V1 USP(quite old as the tritium sights are kinda dim), the other is a US Army commemorative M9. I like both for their own reasons, with the M9 being a very rugged gun that feels tough, and the USP having lighter recoil while being lighter and more accurate. I could get ~$500 for the M9(less than 1K rounds through it), or I could get $600-800 for the USP.

Literally the dumbest law and almost impossible to enforce, I could just go around shooting turkeys in the dick and say "oops I'm a bad shot".
So I wouldn't worry about missing too much.
Went to the range today. It rained. All the guns got soaked. I dried them off as soon as I got home, and I'll be cleaning them all later tonight.

IMHO, I dislike M9s, so I would sell that, as there are many better 9mms out there today.
If you just need money, sell the USP.
So I had about 14 or so FTF's on my glock 20, whenever I looked down at the gun it seemed like maybe the rounds weren't going all the way up, do the mags need to be broken in?

Shooting with which spring and which ammo?

Parts n stuff for the USP aren't as common, nor does it feel quite as good as my M9, so I'm probably gonna keep the M9. I'm certain that if I want to fix the trigger creep on the USP, it's gonna cost me a fuckton, whilst the M9 has none and is very definite.

That is true; check out Wilson Combat for the M9, they just came out with a Beretta 92G and line of 92/96 parts:

What MAC said. Give us your bullet weight, velocity, and what pound spring you have.
Hi, Guys!
I need your help identifying this scope, its from 2nd Prototype of the MP7.

It's always a Zeiss.
Hi.
I have been searching for this for a few days now and that is the wrong sight.

next time google it yourself. it took me literally 5 seconds to find.
Zeiss Z-Point is what you're looking for. It was the reflex sight developed FOR the H&K PDW & MP7 prototypes. It is also a prototype and therefore different prototypes looked differently.
I was on the exact same search as you a few years ago for modelling purposes.

The sight posted by Prusse and the magazine cover you posted are the exact same reflex sight. Look closely.
I don't often ask this but are you sure? as it looks box shape compared to the "Zeiss Z-Point" which is more circular then of course even the material on HK Site mentions something box shape.

Sorry for the imageheaviness of the incoming post.

I believe you are thinking of this sight:

Which I believe is just another cheaper prototype.
If Keltec makes a compact version of the CMR30, I'd love to dress it out like an MP7.
I was thinking more like this as it says reminiscent and i can only assume they mean something similar to this.

Which kinda lead me to believe it would look like this.

You're comparing reality and science-fiction dude. It's a judgement call.
Valve modellers were never very interested in the reality of firearms.
That is painfully obvious as the barrel to fire the grenade is smaller than the actual grenade.
The smg in hl2 started out as the real mp7 shown in CoilingTesla's pics. It can be seen in the hl2 leak as the model "v_smg2.mdl"
[t]http://combineoverwiki.net/images/1/18/Smg2l.jpg[/t]
At some point the model was redesigned into something that only resembles a mp7, as it has a wierd rail on the top, two barrels that stick out, no fire selector, and no collapsing stock. The reason the smg has that tiny barrel which presumably is supposed to be the grenade lanucher is that smg originally had no grenade launcher. However, later in development the smg1 had the grenade launcher transplanted on it from the OICW, which had been cut from the game. Thus, they probably just copied and pasted another barrel on the gun to explain why the gun could launch grenades.
Hello.
I don't know much about guns but is "SMG1" auto or semi? i don't really know the difference.
Semi-auto is an automatic weapon, as the name implies. An automatic system fires a stored round, extracts and expels the used cartridge, and loads a new round.
In a semi-automatic weapon, this process occurs, but a mechanical device prevents the firing of the second loaded round. In fully-automatic weapons, the process is repeated until the process is stopped, such as by releasing the trigger mechanism, or running out of rounds to load.
Thirdly, and a bit more weirdly, you have burst-fire automatic which does the self-loading process, but for each press of the trigger, you have a certain amount of firings before a mechanical cam device prevents the loaded round from firing.
Semi auto is an auto-loading firearm, whereas automatic (ie. machine gun) is an auto-firing firearm. Calling semi-auto "automatic" is pretentious at best, or disingenuous at worst.
