Gunbroker is fine, they're one of the largest websites of their type along with Armslist. As for shipping, unless Maryland has any laws that elaborate on Federal rules, that gun is pre-1899 and exempt from most restrictions, meaning it can be shipped to your doorstep. Whether you want it to be is a different question; I'd still consider calling a gun store and getting permission to ship it to them unless you know you will be home when the gun arrives. Buying an antique as your first can be a double-edged sword; on one hand, they're beautiful and very rich historical items, and you come to appreciate modern guns a lot more for how they've improved on old designs. On the other they're attention whores and maintenance hogs. You will want to touch it a lot and the more you touch it the more you have to clean and protect it. Parts are often rare and expensive, and, as will be the case with the rifle you're looking at, ammunition can be hard to find and very expensive when you do find it. That one looks like it's missing a lot of finish and will be susceptible to rusting quickly; you won't be able to hang it over the fireplace and forget about it unless you want it to turn into a big ball of rust. My first gun was a very early 1900s side by side shotgun that I've kept in good condition, but I didn't know how to take care of it at first and some rust formed under the forend. You have to watch unprotected metal and find a good solution to treat it with.
That just looks like a toy painted that way. Why a CZ, man, Glocks are made for that goofy shit.
I think it's pretty cool personally.

Luckily I have many friends experienced with gun ownership and maintenance willing to help me with issues such as these. Maryland is pretty anal about handguns but with long guns they don't really seem to give a fuck, but I have been talking with friends about where to send the gun initially.
Gunbroker is like eBay. They don't personally make or sell anything, it's just an avenue for others to sell their wares.
It's not overly tac-ti-cool. It's a set up I would use. I like eotechs, never had the money to afford one, let alone a decent AR-15, but it's something I would want. The dual tone looks nice, especially with the way you have the rails done. Gursh it so purty.
I like how rail ladders sort of break up the shape by contrast even though it's still mostly black. Really though, since I probably won't be putting anything else on the rails they're pretty useless in a pragmatic sense. There's a reason people use modular rails (typically lighter), but I just like the look and feel of it. SOCOM uses DD rails though, so it's got siq operator credz. [editline]8th April 2015[/editline] This rifle inspired me a lot, sadly those old 20 round pmags are pretty much impossible to find so I'm going to paint some USGI ones. No one else to my knowledge makes a polymer 20 round AR mag in FDE or even a tan painted USGI mag. Magpul doesn't even offer their current 20 rounders in FDE, it's pretty weird. I would legitimately pay $20 a piece for two of those older ones. Literally no one has them for sale from what I've seen.
I love Chicago, my family lives there and the city itself is super clean, modern and the people are really friendly but it pains me knowing the gun laws are kind of shit. I'd love to move to Chicago after the military considering it has great schools for the program I want but the gun laws are hard to swallow. Do I just suck it up for school? It's hard to find big cities with good gun laws, the best ones I can find are Philly, Portland OR and Seattle. What are some good big cities with good gun laws? I'm also a northerner at heart and have been in the south long enough to be done with it.
I see them at my local gun show, want me to keep an eye out for them for you?
I specifically want the old straight 20 round ones in FDE. If you see those, I guess PM me. I'd probably really only be interested in like-new ones.

Annnnnd it's at the $20 price point :v Looking at about $50~ for two with shipping, at least that's the shipping cost for my state.
Who wants to pay $1,800 for a 9mm AK? http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/ak-47-74-rifles.html

FN is releasing an M249 SAW for us mere mortals SAW stands for Semi Automatic Weapon :V Probably going to run about $5K...because hey, it's not like FN makes oodles of dosh off of military contracts or anything. Also, civillian AK-12s start production in 2016 and ship to us right about....NEVER. Thanks Obama...and Putin. Motherfucker I get back from college today and the bid went from $415 to $2,100 gg
Sounds like a hot ticket item. A lot of these auctions are going to be like that. People trying out snipe each other, or throwing down some serious cash to scare away anyone else. Some times the best way to get an item on auction, unfortunately, is either be ludicrously patient, or dive at the Buy button if it looks like a good deal before the button gets disabled.
Now I'm looking between a Vetterli I could buy now for $425 and a Murata I could buy now for $300. The Murata is so cheap because it's the civilian variant with a smooth bore and it's missing the firing pin :v: but it's being sold in my State so I could just go and pick it up. I wish Muratas weren't so rare.
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/xm42-the-handheld-flamethrower What do you guys think?
Murder isn't listed as a practical use 0/10
If I bought a flamethrower I think it'd have to be an M1-style, with backpack tanks for cool factor and longevity, for me to shell out. Otherwise I'd just build one.
Does anyone know on average how cheap an SKS is? I saw an AK47 for sale at my neighbor's estate sale, but it was too expensive. A friend of mine suggested an SKS instead.
US about $400-$600, I think.
US about $400-$600, I think.
More like $300. as much as $500-$600 if unused and in perfect shape. Oh man I went to the gunstore today and got to hold the Murata in person. He told me if I paid in cash I could get it for $250. With that price I might be able to get both guns oh jeez the temptation.
I tried :c
Went ahead and ordered two anyways, who knows the next chance I'll have. Just wish I would have known about it sooner. Hopefully they don't screw me over.
