BREAKING: SIG Brace deemed legal to shoulder, no longer considered an SBR upon doing so.

I told everyone this would happen and nobody believed me
[editline]10th April 2015[/editline]
I guess it hasn't happened yet
So since I'm getting a 1911 in .380, I've been debating if I should get a Skorpion in .380 too, but nowhere near me has one in stock. Do you guys think a Skorpion is worth $750, and should I bother driving 2 hours one way just to look at one in person?
a semi auto skorpion without a stock is only worth scrap value but if you're gonna put a stock on it and pay the $200 tax stamp that could be pretty rad

No, and if you're going to get a Skorpion, it should be the new CZ Skorpion Evo 3 9mm for $800
Has anyone seen the M249S yet? I personally hate the M249 with a passion being an 0331 but I would definitely buy one of these. It'd be a great gun to teach the kids machine gun gunnery on, even being semi-auto.

Personally, I don't like belt fed semi autos. The loading takes forever, the point of a belt is defeated, and having to get every single link to keep shooting it is more painful than fetching brass from a PTR91.
To each their own I guess.

I take it you've never had to police call a range after firing anywhere between 25,00 and 80,00 rounds before, it sucks dick but you get used to it and part of that is separating brass and links into separate boxes. Also, obviously I'd rather have an M240B even if it was semi but hey if I can get a M249 I'll make do with that.

You are correct! The ranges I go to are run of the mill civilian ones. No double taps, no rapid fire, no draw from holster, and no autos. So essentially no fun zones. On the flip side, one of them is now heated and air conditioned. The other is a preserve with a range, a FUDD central range.

That's why whenever I go shooting in my free time I just go out in the woods so I don't have to deal with any of that. And no matter what we do from shooting 5.56 all the way up to 40mm Mk-19's, 50cal's and even the Lav-25's Bushmasters' or the empty SMAW rocket tubes we have to clean up the entire range when we're done. Stationary ranges are the easiest but the larger ranges that involve a lot of movement can be up to around 5k so it can take awhile cleaning them up. It's all worth it in the end though.
Haha woo first gun Murata Civilian varient for $250 flat.

You let me know when you've got $7,500 to drop on a 249 for training kids, because I'll take one for "training" then as well :V

Well the good thing with Canada is SBRs aren't illegal, so it's already got a folding stock and no extra $200.
The bad news is semi-auto rifles are pinned to a 5 round mag, and the Skorpion is classified as a "rifle."

The point was getting another gun in .380, which are uncommon here since most of the handguns in it are illegal. Also lord only knows how many years it'll take for the RCMP to decide to let the new Skorpion Evo into the country.

Awhile, the RCMP are too busy pretending to be lawmakers.
Thinking about getting a 40 cal Beretta, thoughts? I've never owned a Beretta.
Which Beretta model are you looking at? The PX series or the 92 series? Either one is good.
Thinking about getting a 40 cal Beretta, thoughts? I've never owned a Beretta.
Beretta guns are nice, my M9 handles great even for a somewhat outdated design. As for .40 cal, you'd be better off going with 9mm. The extra power can be useful but .40 is not an optimal caliber for its velocity. It has a lot of recoil for the overall capabilities of the round. I used a Px4 Storm in .40 at a friend's place and it had some serious muzzle flip. Would not recommend.

That shit is fucking cerakoted, that is a real firearm
Would you guys disown me if I bought a deagle just to do this

If it one of the newer ones, then no. If it's an IWI one, then yes, you deserve to be disowned.
Also, the case should be rigged with a speaker and battery to blast AMERICA, FUCK YEAH!
Like those birthday cards that sing when you open them :v:
There's a .357 XIX at the gun store near me priced at $950. I want a Desert Eagle just for shits n giggles, but I can't really justify that price tag. When I can afford to drop that kind of cash on something stupid I'll probably pick one up.
[editline]10th April 2015[/editline]
That's like a $275 cerakote job, but the ability to claim ownership of the Bald Deagle would almost be worth it.

Only reason I want a 40 is because I already have two 9mm. I was looking at the 96 A1
Berettas are great guns. Have you tried shooting either model of Berettas in 40?

The 96's aren't bad, you might want to get an extra locking lug ahead of time being a 40 though, they do wear out over time.
I'd love to make a long barrel 96 as a copy of Revy's gun in Black Lagoon.

If I ever bought a Desert Eagle, it would be a .357, no doubt. I have no use for a .44 or .50AE model.

I'd grab 44 since it's the classic Deagle caliber before the 50AE. I love the 44 mag and most of the guns that use it. The 357 is nice, but you might as well get a Coonan 357 for about the same price and it's not as much of a brick.
I'd go .44 since you can barrel swap for .50 AE
If I'm going to have a ridiculous handgun it has to be in a ridiculous calibre. 50AE, add the long barrel and a stock, then use it to shoot pigs.
