I guess i'm just lucky that I like the look and feel of pretty much everything magpul has ever made.

Yeah I haven't had issues with their stuff either.
They make really good stuff. I'm using Magpul rail covers on the M4 in that picture. When it comes to furniture though, I'm more of a traditionalist.

Yeah I noticed. Did the US military torture you until you learned to love the A2 pistol grip knob or something?

I have such little bitch hands, the A2 grip actually feels good to me. :|
I'd switch out the A2 for a Magpul grip. I love the texture the grips have. A2s are acceptable though.
My hands aren't particularly big and the A2 grip's knob still annoys the hell out of me.
I had a Bushmaster with the Magpul grip. It's a nice grip, but not really my style. I actually like the grip knob on the A2. I feel I have more of a grip on it with the knob there.
Troy makes a child soldier grip for ARs, for all you small handed folk; called the Troy Battle Axe CQB grip
What is the world coming to? Firsts AR grips on AKs, now AK grips on ARs!

I didn't get an M&P branded magazine with my M&P. :(

Sacrilege!
What do you guys think about those slide fire stocks for ARs?
I can't even afford to shoot .223 in semi auto! But you could probably accomplish the same thing by taking a $5 M4 stock, removing the locking lever on it, and sticking another buffer spring in there.

How would that work?
How would that work?
Did you check out the thread I linked when you first asked about the Slidefire? The guy shows his first crude design in this video: https://www.youtube.com/v/RUO0_NLAi7w%26feature=relmfu
The concept is incredibly simple. Basically, all you need to do is have the grip and stock independent of the rest of the gun.

Yeah I don't want crude.

NOPE
Don't do that, you'll be making an illegal machinegun.
The Atkins Accelerator stock was a similar device for the ruger 10/22 but it had a spring in it.
It was deemed a machinegun because the spring made it "fire" instead of the operator having to hold the gun forward and cause it to fire.

That sounds like a fucking stupid law. Care to cite?
Yeah I don't want crude.
Crude isn't bad, lol. It's relatively easy to make one. Without using a spring of course. Also it is a dumb law, but gun control itself is dumb as hell.

Seems less accurate than many slide fire videos I've seen, though maybe he's not trying to make an actual grouping.

Brought to you by the BATFE (and really big fires)

"Upon further review, we have determined that the string itself is not a machine gun"
Oh my god is this real? Please say no

This is the ATF we're talking about... They have said some very dumb shit over the years...

That is real, just like shouldering those arm braces "manufactures a short barreled rifle" and makes you a felon.
Felon

But the ATF is in charge of our guns, somehow, and they had to review a fucking piece of string to determine it wasn't a full auto weapon. Ugh. Does not compute.
Even better, guess what this does:

What? Does it launch ICBMs? Or is it an AK47 with a 30 round mag? Because that'd be worse.

The most valuable piece of steel, by weight, to ever exist. It's a full auto disconnect.

Because the government hates us, and has to give us a headache by putting a horribly inept government ran shitshow in charge of guns.

Like banning full auto weapons. That sure did help murder rates, huh. Not.
