Dude, there is no way you are going to get a shotgun for $100 that is a pump action. If there was one, it would be a parts gun and rusted to shit. Totally useless and worthless. Pony up a couple Bens and you can get a good used shotgun.
lol he bought some old pos pump action that runs fine. I bought a pos old sxs for $80 that also runs fine. You can find pumps for $100 still at old pawn shops.

Going to a yard sale every once in a while can net great buys.
How do I compress a spring enough to put on a washer? I can't do it with my hands.
My Glock 19 arrived today. I went after work to pick up the paperwork and they let me see it. It's pretty sexy and it comes with three 10rd magazines. Which is good because they're fucking impossible to find in NY State despite being the only legal magazine size you can shove into a Glock.
What gun? I generally use a bushing to keep my recoil spring in place on my .45 like it's intended, but not all guns have a barrel bushing.
Friend just bought a Benelli m3 super 90 for $870 used from some guy, was that a good price or no? It has a 5 round tube and we found out it can not ghost load, can any m3's ghost load? Or is that only something like a m4? I'm not sure what year it is, didn't really look at it much, just know it has a pistol grip and ghost ring sights. Don't know if it's just me, but it looks and feels a lot like an 870 at the receiver and trigger.
i can never bring myself to buy a shotgun thats over $100 i look at buying a 590 for that exact wooden look or a 590a1 for the polymer look but everytime i see it costs $400, i think about all the other shit i could buy that i would use way more. a shotgun is pretty limited in uses but any shotgun that has the barrel and the tube end together makes me jizz
A shotgun isn't limited in uses, they're pretty much the most useful firearm. Now, a shotgun with a 20" barrel and a cylinder bore like my 590 is pretty limited in uses, but they're fun. I got a good deal on it, it rang up for $340 even though it was tagged $430 and no one corrected it. That's quite a bit cheaper than any 590 i'm seeing on the web.
Anyone know if GaugeMate shotgun adapters are worth it? Since I can't legally buy a handgun, i would like something that fires .38 rounds.
Anyone know if GaugeMate shotgun adapters are worth it? At least you can get some more pep from the rounds compared the short barrel of the inserts.
What gun? I have to put an ungodly amount of force on the spring to put the washer on. The problem is that I can't press down hard enough.
Anyone know if GaugeMate shotgun adapters are worth it? Since I can't legally buy a handgun, i would like something that fires .38 rounds.
You can buy a handgun via private sale if you're not 21.
Well, time to face the next longest year of my life. After toiling around with it for a long time, I finally ordered an SVI.
For actual ipsc matches or expensive gun just for fun?
This is a fun gun at the moment. I want to get into USPSA/IPSC eventually.
Get into. It's a shit-tonne of fun and you really don't have to be amazing at it to enjoy it. And every year you do it you get better at it.
I think I'm gonna trade my baguette blaster for a cap and ball revolver.
Not getting it fixed?
It's not worth the trouble imo. It's a Century hackjob meaning there's no real historical interest to me, and it's a .32 ACP with an 8 round magazine so it's not like it's a practical gun either. I think I'd have more fun with a cap and ball Uberti '51 Navy and maybe a cartridge conversion cylinder for convenience down the line, there are drop in cylinders with self-contained firing pins for .38 wadcutters.
I know who would that thing off you. There once was a man on this forum who loved smooth bore maks and shooting at brick buildings. [sp]Umenat[/sp] This is who you are looking for.
rip umenat your home welding will never be forgotten
I just bought 2 golden buckets of bullets in .22lr at Academy today... ITS GONNA BE A GOLDEN SHOWER NOOOOOW
Loose ammo is so impractical though
it's better to keep it in mags but loose is the next best thing. I hate trying to load a mag from a bullet holder
Loose ammo stops being annoying at a certain size point, but yeah loose .22 is pretty annoying to deal with and you can't really expect pre-loaded mags to last you very long when it comes to .22.
with ammo that small I just take a big handful of like 30 and cram them into the mag
with ammo that small I just take a big handful of like 30 and cram them into the mag
*Insert meme pic of ammunition crammed into an AK... That reminds me, I should get a few more Ruger BX-25 mags, not that I even shoot my .22lr anymore...
I don't mess with sissy calibers like 22lr so I've never had issues with loading lose ammo into mags.
Sissy calibers, not even once... Also pictured, how Hydrated loads his mags :V
Center fire and not rim fire and way too big, 1/10, would not make go bang. But honestly, my Dad and I store all of our .22 ammo in a tin box loose combining years and years of random bricks together into a hodgepodge of probably 15 different .22 types intermingled and ready to be fired. We do the same thing where we just grab a handful, load our guns, and toss the extras back in the tin when we're shooting. While we're hunting, we grab two handfuls and shove them in a zipped pocket on our coats.
