Holy geebus, suppressed SVD pistol:

I'd use it.
why would you do that?
what if a lot of ammo you've got was recalled, and you sit there with a soup of mixed lots and makes?
and what about different POI between types?
Because it annoys you, it's .22; if it fails to fire I just eject it out and load another round, and I hunt squirrel with it. It's not like I need a 200-yard zinger to get the critter.
22LR is what? 5 cents a round? Who cares?
I'm mocking up a bullpup stock and straight-pull mechanism in Sketchup for my Savage Mk.2F, if it's too ridiculous to be practical, it doesn't really matter, its just a 22LR. I barely get to shoot it any more anyways.
I have the rifle completely stripped in my desk drawer so I can measure everything without having to clutter my desk.
I'm trying to do some 3D modeling for a game, and I have a question about magazines for the sake of accuracy; with the magazine, I have to measure it from rim to rim right? So like for the dimensions of the magazine of a STEN gun it would have to be at least 318.72 MM wide for all the bullets to fit in due to their round diameter, right? Not counting the sprite, of course.
Or am I wrong?

Don't forget the spring and guide underneath the cartridges.
Like so:

Okay. But do I include the rim diameter for making the size of the magazine or not? I'm just trying to make some models since I can't get very far without modelers period.
I would find a blueprint or something. You'll never get the proportions right if you just guess the measurements.
Why not buy a .357 carbine from Taurus or a single shot from H&R or a T/C Contender? At least you can get some more pep from the rounds compared the short barrel of the inserts.
There is a 7 inch version. Overall it would be cheaper than buying a TC. I was thinking about getting an H&R single shot 12ga and getting a stamp from the ATF to make it into a SBS for a survival gun.
I would do terrible things to get my hands on a shotgun like this..
You can find a winchester 1200 riot model for like $200, which is the one I have and I bought it at that price. Heat shields are a dime a dozen for shotguns these days. I'd like to get a Vietnam era bayonet lug for mine but they're non-existent.

Who cares? Worse that happens with a dud or mismanufactured 22lr round is that it doesn't fire.
I saw an oooold Remington Model 10 in my favorite gun shop today for $225. I really wanted it but alas it was not to be; I can't afford that shit. Maybe next payday.
They also have a C96 in there that's a bit rough but it's shootable. It's priced at $695 but he said he'd do way lower for me since I'm in there all the time buying ammo. The question is do I need two C96s?

if I want precision shooting, I don't grab my .22. It'll lay cloverleafs if you want it to, but past 100 yards not so reliably. I'd rather shoot something heavier at range or my airgun if I'm doing it at a smaller scale.

put a side reference on the left viewport and use other reference pictures in relation to the main reference to guess other dimensions
21st birthday woo! And guess who's pickin up a P226 today? Not this guy because all the gunshops are closed on sundays! fuck

Battlefield Hardline has a secret comedy reload animation for all the guns I think. They have a rare chance of happening.
Suddenly, cue Nutnfancy commentary on how untacteecool that is.

That hurts to watch.
Has anyone ever owned a Remington Model 10? Anything I should know? I'm buying one come payday that I think is a mid-20s model.

You're two Remington models ahead of me.
Or i'm 71 Remington models ahead of you, if you want to be exact.
Model 8s are neat rifles. Unrelated to the 10 I'm looking at, but do you have any pictures?
CZ SP01 or a P226. Decisions decisions....

I've posted the first one before, but I haven't posted the sling one here.

You should use only lead shot in old shotguns. I forget what year is considered safe, I think the 40's. Anyway, if you use non lead shot, the barrel is going to be scratched and gouged to heck.
What's a wad?
Separates powder and projectile(s) in a shotgun shell. Once fiber, now usually plastic. It can put a pretty big hole of its own in closeby targets.

That was my intention anyway - I don't want to abuse it much, it's just a range toy really. I was more curious about any reliability problems or quirks. I heard they can have some extraction problems that are a pain in the ass to fix, but I don't know how exaggerated the frequency of such problems is.
