please please please please let it go good for us stuck behind enemy lines.
No change to the rear sight means I'll have to pass. I've shot Timebomb's Sub2k (9mm Glock, no less) quite a bit, but the rear sight is too short for me to use comfortably, and putting optics on a Sub2k seems like it defeats the purpose.

It can. It just depends on what you want to use it for. I love its fold-n-store system, so no optics for me. Some home brew solutions have been using spring loaded door hinges with an optic on it, an indexing rail system, or having an offset mount on the gun like the Garand scope.
Does anyone here shoot trap / skeet / sporting clays/ make orange things go poof?
No. I neither own a shotgun, not have a clay range at my club. I'm also too worried about how bad I'd suck at it to go to a public range and try.

Cheap .303 Brit? .30-06? oh my
It sorta does make sense though, all these foreign countries making ammo are sorta fucked over by their home countries thanks to gun laws. Don't worry download, will export some freedom to you soon!
does this ADI company even make .303 though? All I'm seeing is .223, .308 and .300 AAC
I doubt ADI are going to make .303 British. I expect you guys will be able to buy our .308 for 60c a round while in the same country the damn stuff is made I'll be paying $1.50 a round.

It's not that bad. I've only now shot this gun 25 times and hit 8 out of 25.
But the issue is I have no idea were to aim, the gun I'm shooting is a weatherby Orion and I dint know if the ball on the end of the gun goes under the clay or covers it up. I know the basic principle of leading the target to compensate for it moving...
afaik the principles of leading a target are a little different in target clays. I was taught that in target clays you want to put the bead on the clay and have the muzzle track the clay during and after the shot, rather than leading ahead of the clay like you would lead a target rifle shooting. I haven't shot clays in years though so I could very well be wrong.
For those here that own a Beretta M9/92FS, is it a normal thing for failure to feed issues with cheap 115gr standard pressure ammo? I thought it was a problem with limp wristing, but I adjusted my grip and it got a little better, but still had the same FTF issue. If you need to ask, I was running bulk S&B plinking FMJ through it, which works perfectly in my USP9.
Anyone else's Youtube feed filled with Shotshow videos? :v:

A few. Not as many as I thought. I just go to The Firearms Blog for news.

dood where are you getting that this company is going to make all these other famous Russian arms? It's not an official Russian company, it's not an official Izmash factory and no where in the (horribly uninformed) article did it mention anything other than "AK-47". All this is is some company called "Kalashnikov" is making US AKM's, which is absolutely nothing new what so ever. The "AK-47's" they have an inventory remaining of is probably just a bunch of unconverted saigas that we've had access to for years now.
Does anyone here shoot trap / skeet / sporting clays/ make orange things go poof?
Used to shoot trap all the time, but haven't in ages. Only did sporting clays once, with a semi auto shotgun, and with underpowered rounds.
No. I neither own a shotgun, not have a clay range at my club. I'm also too worried about how bad I'd suck at it to go to a public range and try.
I do quite a bit. My advice is to get a decent lead and, the most important part, follow through with your shot. So if you're shooting a clay in the air, you want to find the right amount to lead based on how fast it's going, and just make sure you keep following the clay with the barrel.
As for where the bead goes, it really doesn't. Honestly, once you get used to it, the bead isn't really a factor anymore. You will just learn how to point the barrel instinctively.
It takes quite a bit of practice to get used to, but you will have a (literal) blast once you get the hang of it.
Does anyone here shoot trap / skeet / sporting clays/ make orange things go poof?
I do, DP. What's up.
E: I generally when shooting clays lead the target a few inches in front of the target and then stop as I pull the trigger. Definitely not what most people teach, but I generally have a 75-85% success rate with my 16-ga, and that's how I learned to do it on my own. As for the dot, my 16-ga doesn't have a barrel dot, but my 12 does. I generally place my dot on my 12 dead-center on the clay so that it covers the clay and keep it in trajectory with it as it goes out and when I'm ready to shoot, I start leading the clay a bit quicker before I pull the trigger.
My 16 without one, I typically actually pull the gun up after the clay is airborne and try to center the clay on the rail like it is the dot as I fire.

Occasionally I do, just started one day, I really enjoy it.

Let us know how it is. I would love to try one myself.

I tested one out before I bought it, I was very impressed. 19+1 capacity is nice. I was able to place all shots in the head of a man sized target at 50 feet and I'm by no means a professional shooter. I was very impressed.
Does anyone here have info on the legality of Pre-1899 revolvers/pistols in New York?
Silly question but my research isn't leading me anywhere that was written recently.

Even if you find some BS legal loophole that would let you CC a pre-1899 firearm, they would still smack you with concealing a deadly weapon on top of a shitload of other stuff.
