So currently, there are two companies coming out with 9mm MP40/38 clones. GSG (they made a .22lr version) http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2015/01/20/gsg-mp-40-9mm/ and El-Be TAC, which is also bringing in an STG-44 clone...that will sell for $5K and shoot 7.92x33 Kurz... http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2015/01/22/new-mp-44-sturmgewehr-rifles-coming-us/
I know it's the original caliber and all, but how do they expect it to sell as well as it could if it were chambered in 7.62x39? I would shoot the shit out of an STG rather than just buy it as a collector's piece.

PPU still makes 7.92x33 Kurz however. You want something similar in 7.62x39? Go buy a PTR-32, because that's about as close as you'll get. And that would actually be closer to the STG-45M
Even if you find some BS legal loophole that would let you CC a pre-1899 firearm, they would still smack you with concealing a deadly weapon on top of a shitload of other stuff.
I wouldn't be concealing, just owning it. I live upstate, waaay out of the city.
Does anyone here have info on the legality of Pre-1899 revolvers/pistols in New York? Silly question but my research isn't leading me anywhere that was written recently.
I own one, a brass framed .44 cal 1851 Colt Navy. You can buy one without any background checks or a pistol permit, but if you plan on firing it, then you'll need a pistol permit.
Has anyone here seen the FosTech Origin 12 shotgun? Here is the SBS version right here. http://fostechoutdoors.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=60
They appear to have a large hole in the side of the receiver. I clicked the link expecting an ugly as F gun, and it delivered.
It reminds me of the bolter from Warhammer. I actually like it, but the price is too much for me to consider it.
WHY?
Leet 1-handed holster reloads aren't tacticool enough any more. That's why.
So... Colt is making new Model 1903s! [t]http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/image21-890x700.jpg[/t]
When will Colt learn to make something the people actually want? Like the revolvers or a full scale production handgun that is not a POS or a 1911?
I want a 1903 though...
Speak for yourself. We have a 1910 '03 in .380 and it's a pretty cool little gun. I'd probably be interested in buying a new one if they make it relatively kind of useful to plink with.
The 1903'd be cool to own, too bad it's double-illegal here (.32 is banned, less than 4.2" barrel is banned). Dammit Colt, make a run of 6" Pythons like everyone wants you to.

[editline]24th January 2015[/editline] like I understand that gun laws don't typically make any sense but that's really fucking weird
Any .25 ACP or .32 ACP caliber weapons with exception to those whose sole purpose is sport shooting (like competition guns) are banned in Canada probably due to their popularity in Saturday Night Specials.
.32 hasn't been popular in saturday night specials in decades. what's on the market in the sub $200 range for .32 other than a few goofy derringers? sub $200 is being really generous too, a good sns should be under $100
Yep. There's a reason why Mr. Bond uses the infinitely better .380 in his guns! Wait...
Does anyone have a list of websites to buy AR15 parts? I've been trying to get my hands on something like this http://www.del-ton.com/Rifle_Kit_p/rkt102.htm but they've been out of stock for ages now.
wait.. are you telling me 7,65 walther pp/ppks are illegal in canada?
Yes. It's also double-illegal, since the barrel is less than 106mm. But yeah pistols in, .25, .32, and with barrels less than 106mm are illegal because in 1995 that banned 56% of the handguns in the country, and the government wanted to ban between 50-60% of handguns at the time.
That's the exact AK I want but with the folding stock. It looks beautiful

Help. I now have a small addiction to sporting clays. I did 12 rounds today of trap... My weatherby orion started acting up. It was late firing and the ejector was sticking. A good cleaning and lubing back up later.... It should be good. Gonna have to take both the benelli and weatherby to a gunsmith to get afew questions answered.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/hhxcYYz.jpg[/t] i spent around 500$ for the whole kit and caboodle (ammo seen included) for the fuck of it, generally didnt want to deal with buying a shitty one online as i inspected this one at a gun show and it seemed alright
