MUH TRIJICON BIBLE VERSES
Haha that's what I was thinking of, too. I used to have a TA01 with a verse on it. Trijicon doesn't do it anymore, after people like some in here got all butthurt about it, saying we were waging a religious war.

these are pretty well priced for the aspiring AR builder and look aesthetically better than the average poor mans upper
It just looks like a justification for using it. I'd be equally creeped out by Quran verses on someone's firearm.
It just makes you look like you think you're a crusader IMO.
As long as we can all agree that the Pulp Fiction quote goes great on pretty much any gun.

I'm not saying you shouldn't be able to, I just think it makes you look like a zealot, that's all.
It's just my opinion, man.
Religious quotes on guns are just as bad as putting the punisher logo on guns

pffft, imagine having to pay 25ct a round for 7.62x39. Here in the US, we only have to pay 24ct per round.

Me and my boyfriend were thinking of selling the savage axis in .30-06 and buying a used bushmaster police issued ar-15 in 5.56 for $650.
I love the bolt action and the power but we want something cheaper to feed and fun.

You can get a brand new bushwacker for $30 cheaper, so I don't see the point in buying a heavily used and abused one for more than retail cost.
You can also buy better AR's for cheaper so theres also that.
KAC URX III 12.5" on a 16" barrel
Does that sound like it'd look cool? I like the URX but my 16" barrel is super long and I don't want to fuck with the legal requirements to get a 14.5" barrel.
Magpul MOE Stock w/ T1 Micro Dot I already have, I just wanted a longer RIS than my GI KAC one.
excitement builds as i wait for my sr9

Alright, I'm confused. I was pbanned, but I'm back now, what happened? Was there a great un-bannening again?
Anyway, I'm back after a few eons. Currently studying mechanical engineering so I can into gun design and manufacturing (fancy term for "use weapons that have expired patents as basis for 'new' guns" like the Ruger MP9, Armalite AR-18/16, etc).
I'm a totally different dude now. Is FP a totally different forum? Also, on topic. Here's my old 197X 870 Magnum. It's from back when Remington was worth buying. Milled aluminum trigger group housing, 3" chamber, well parkerized so there's no rust at all (the discoloring is patina). It came with ancient, rock-solid Hogue furniture that was cracking apart, so I jumped on the Magpul train a little late and found out that their furniture is really fuckin' comfy. Reusable multicam cloth wrap on the grip is for my gorilla hands.

We sold the axis and bought a new Del-Ton DTI-15 in 5.56 on sale for $650 and a case of tulammo .223 from walmart.

I wish my Walmart had guns. I would expect Arizona to be on top of that shit. There's barely any ammo anymore, either.

honestly walmart guns aren't that great unless you want a colt AR or a fud bolt rifle.
But check your smaller walmarts, they usually tend to have more ammo in stock because people like to go to the big walmarts to buy large quantities of ammo.
Walmarts supply chain for ammo was revamped after sandy hook and it has been ruined ever since, so stores are hard pressed to stay supplied, especially ones that don't have a gun-room in the back to store ammo.
walmart was dead to me when they said they dont sell 5.45
can you believe they don't stock .30 mauser
why the fuck wouldn't target have 9.3x63mm Brenneke Magnum? fucking commies
If a gun shop doesn't have .22 Eargesplitten Loudenboomer I won't even walk through the door.
Went into the gun store the other day and they didn't have 12mm Gyrojet! Can you believe that bullshit? Bloody ammo hoarders.
Can you believe walmart doesn't stock 12.7x108 or 20mm Hispano Suiza.
Thanks obama

Speaking of which, does anyone know where I can get some commie fiddycal demills? .50 BMG is piss easy to find but I haven't seen a single 12.7x108mm.
[editline]9th July 2015[/editline]
realistically I could probably just paint up some .50BMG and make a reasonable copy but I'd rather have the real deal if I can find it.

I'd imagine most weapons of that caliber and origin are currently being used in places like Ukraine or Syria.
i have a bunch ;)
Where'd you get them? I'd like to fill out a 10 round belt if they aren't hideously expensive

12.7x108 is a ridiculously common round used by a shitload of modern armies. Pretty much anyone who doesn't use the M2 uses it.
I braved the barren wasteland of Gander Mountain today after it got restocked after work, and managed to find two boxes of .22lr sub and ,303 British. You could say things are looking up in this frozen hell-hole that is Democrat-in-Office-Virginia.
I gave up hope for Gander Mountain when I saw a used "Beretta 92" (it was a Taurus PT92) for $700, and $800 for a used P226 that looked like someone tossed it down a mountain. Oh, and $700 police trade in Glocks.

I have found milsurp rounds for 5 bucks a round... Honestly the gun store selling them sells cheap 54R for a dollar a round, notoriously expensive. As for just any 50 BMG, found some 10 round boxes at Academy for like 35 bucks. Federal American Eagle, 660 Grains, around 3.50 a round, cheapest I have ever seen 50 BMG.

Walmart actually does OCCASIONALLY get bulk shipments of 12.7x99 (from AmeriEagle IIRC) and sends a store 10 boxes.
