I'm 18 and I still play with my bionicle.

What about roboriders. Goddamn those were badass.

It really was getting silly when every single new pack was essentially a load of new parts to snap together, many of which weren't even re-usable or creatively versatile. And the projectile weapons got into elastic sperm catapults and multi-barrel arrow shooters more reminiscent of generic toys then actual Lego. At least they know when to let it die, if a little late. From what I hear the writer Greg Farshtey is still going to continue the lore and the storyline, just the sets will stop.

I had most of them and eventually lost the parts and made my own ones. Those were the days :saddowns:

The first and second series were the only good ones IMO. After that it became shit.

I used to love these things. Mainly because I like to build things. I began to make my own ones because I was getting bored.

When Bionicle first came out I liked Pohatu the most because he kicked the kohli ball (when I was younger I thought it was a regular rock) into enemies, and thats what got me into Bionicle. My favorite series of bionicle were: -The Bohrok, they had the cool looking Krana inside their heads and they could curl up into little balls before attacking. -The Vahki looked Badass, enough said. -The Piraka had the light-up teeth, and cool looking weapons. -The Barraki reminded me of what the life is like in the Abyssal Zone of the Sea. -The Mahri and Phantoka had the cool-looking high-tech armor and vehicles. -The Glatorian's designs were reminescent of that of the Ancient Roman Gladiators.
