A few years ago I made a frozen pizza in the oven, but I didn't know that the burners on top also served as vents for the oven, nobody ever told me that, so I didn't bother to clear them off before using it. I melted my dad's lunch box. I still feel bad about it.
Cast iron pan. It'll last you forever.
I can attend to that Mine literally has holes and pieces missing from it, all the way back to the times when my grandma was using it. It is a piece of history that still cooks as good as the day it was made. Try eating that without having melted cheese & carboard in your mouth
if its a non-stick pan you should throw it away immediately. Teflon is something that can fuck up your health and give you cancer etc.
Burned a shit tonne of kettles before I also had a pressure cooker thats lid rocketed off and land a few feet from the stove
