I think you'll find there's an ever smaller one-man helicopter:
Only a little dinky pole holding the engine in place?
Pass.
[editline]06:15PM[/editline]
All this is, is a couple pieces of tubes, a UV joint for the engine, and an engine. Fucking hell i could make one of these for like 5 grand.
ahahaah no
This is truth, buying the parts wholesale probably costs like 2000. What a scam artist.
That's not really a rip-off. Most companies do that. The ipad costs like 400 bucks, but only like 20 to make one. Also, I'm guessing this isn't mass produced so that would jack the price up a bi too.

It's called making a profit.
I have seen smaller at the National Air and Space Museum.

It's called 500%-1000% markup. McDonalds pop is a 1000% markup.
Their $1 drink only costs them about 10¢
Mark-up usually isn't actually that much though, because labour actually does cost a lot. It'd be cheaper to buy the parts, but a lot of labour goes in, and that gets added to the cost.
I've never heard of more than 1000% markup, most times it's around 150%-200% markup
I hope it comes with a parachute :ohdear:

I wouldn't.
Go anywhere!*
*as long as there's a lake connecting you and your destination.
Looks like an incredibly expensice way to die IMO.
I think a safer alternative to flying is tying a rope from a plane to your neck, and giving the pilot the thumbs up.
Holy shit that looks dangerous, looking at the videos i constantly thought its going to flip over.
I want it, no really. i do!
/sarcasm
I saw this when i went to Japan, got a picture sitting in it. Lining up with all the little kids was alittle odd though ;_;
This was on that James May program!
Like 2 years ago -.-
