Any good buddy-cop movies? I already seen 21 Jump Street and I'm about to watch The Other Guys.
The Guard.
forgot to add howl's moving castle
Any movies like Mulholland Drive? I'm getting into David Lynch and I'm wondering whether their are filmmakers with a style similar to his.

Quite an odd one with some very emphatic characters from actors outside of their usual comfort zone. Not a Lynch but rather odd.
Oliver Stone really had some hidden gems in his catalogue aside from his mainstream things. Another good psychological film was Talk Radio.
Could anybody recommend me something like Requiem for a Dream and Trainspotting?
Could anybody recommend me something like Requiem for a Dream and Trainspotting?
If its films about drugs you might be after then maybe Fear and loathing in Las Vegas. The 2 films you named are kind of similar in the sense they show the messed up view of the world through the eyes of an addict. Fear and Loathing is more wacky.
I asked 2 pages ago so I'd just like to ask again. I've been hearing a lot about Blade Runner and apparently its a good film and I'm interested in watching it. Would you recommend it?

You aren't a man until you've seen the Final Cut of Blade Runner
Dredd The Raid: Redemption people are cooped up in a building fighting evil by being evil
Don't forget Paul Blart: Mall Cop.
Whelp, I'm off to find this Blade Runner: Final Cut
Most of the copies you'll find today, at least in stores, will be the Final Cut or a package containing the Final Cut.
Whelp, I'm off to find this Blade Runner: Final Cut
get the bluray it has five different cuts of the film.
That actually depends. I've seen some with only 4 cuts and some with all 5.
Damn, went to the store and couldn't find it, I'll order it from Amazon some day. What you give the movie on a scale of 10 in terms of story, atmosphere and anything else notable.

Good action scenes, memorable characters and settings, and Harrison Ford. That should be all you need to get it as soon as possible.
Not to mention the underlying themes that persist throughout the story if you have the eyes to pick up on them. Also the movie is depressing as hell. When I had finished watching it I literally sat in my chair for about two hours contemplating the movie.
Theres even humour in it, Kilgore is one of the best characters in any film I've ever seen. edit: wtf am I talking about, I'm on Apocalypse Now and we were talking Blade Runner.
Thats it, sold, that's all I need. Thanks guys, I just needed some opinions to seal the deal.
Anything for me and my girlfriend to watch together? Something romantic, and maybe a sex scene to get her in the mood.
I'm looking for a film that has that immersive sense of adventure to it. Preferably something fantasy but that isn't too important. Any style of film will do.
The LOTR films The Princess Bride Serenity (helps if you've watched the tv show Firefly, but isn't necessary)
