Going to be home alone all weekend and need a movie to watch. Suggest pretty much anything, as long as it's on Netflix.
Theres a film called 'Go' from 1999. Fans of Tarantino will enjoy this film because even though its somebody trying to totally copy his style, he does a pretty good job. Probably not on Netflix, sucks bad.
I need more Korean/Chinese thrillers too. I've seen all of the movies posted before + a few I forgot the names of.

City on Fire Chinese thriller. Basically what Reservoir Dogs was based on.
I need a "down to earth" movie set in the southern US states. Kinda like "Sideways", "A Perfect World" and "Into the wild". I just want a pretty movie with scenery of the American countryside.
Rain Man It's not the south, but it's a road movie with countryside scenery.

[editline]6th March 2013[/editline] there's a director cut and it's great, depends on how much you want to stomach.

Bonus points if the movie includes a folk music soundtrack.
django unchained not entirely down to earth, but you can't deny that it doesn't have a great traveling montage scene all while accompanied by this beautiful fucker
Seen that one aswell :( Seems like I should narrow the genre down a little. So, any movies with a southern state environment. For example, "Signs", "Forrest Gump", "O brother where art thou, "No country for old men" and "Gilbert Grape".
Crap, I forgot about O Brother Where Art Thou. You probably have seen this, but The Ladykillers by The Coen Brothers. [editline]6th March 2013[/editline] Deliverance might also work. It's more Appalachia than Deep South, though.
booster, watch Eureka. it's not american but it's a fantastic and wonderful road film.
I haven't seen Deliverance yet, all I know is that it has that scene in it. Also, by "Eureka" do you mean this movie? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0243889/?ref_=sr_2
That's the one. It's quite depressive though, but really a personal experience tbh.

Also it was filmed in New Mexico and Texas, which is Southwest which has the word South in it.
I haven't seen Deliverance yet, all I know is that it has that scene in it.
It's not all that bad, unless you're really disgusted by man ass.

They meet some interesting characters along the way including a certain Jack Nicholson who gives one of his earlier performances and a display of the greatness to come. This is also a cult classic for this type of genre.
Looking for some Korean war movies, doesn't matter if English or not. Already watched * 71 into the fire * Brotherhood of war * The front line Thanks if you can help me out!

There is also Welcome to Dongmakgol but that is a comedy.
Any good bank heist movies?
Any good bank heist movies?
Heat Dog Day Afternoon J HAT THIS ONE IS FOR YOU Inside Man The Town
The Italian job remake is an awesome bank heist film......NOT! Somebody posted this exact request a couple of pages back and the above comrade recommends the same excellent films for you again.
Any good Vietnam war movies that aren't: Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, We were soldiers, Deer Hunter, or Apocalypse Now?
Good Morning Vietnam?
The Casualties of War I haven't seen it myself, but it has Sean Penn and Michael J. Fox in it, and it was directed by Brian DePalma, if that helps.
Any good psychologicol horror films? Some jump scares allowed, as long as the scariness/horror doesn't rely solely on them.
Any good psychologicol horror films? Some jump scares allowed, as long as the scariness/horror doesn't rely solely on them.
The Ring. Both the original in Japanese and the American remake are great to watch.
you all need to watch raid: redemption holy fucking shit the pacing was spot on and those fights were definitely some of the best i've ever seen here, one of the early fight scenes (that most of you have already seen, probably):
I watched that film in a club at about 4am on new years day. It was cold, I was just sobering up and there where two gay guys making out in the seats behind me. Noisily. I still managed to enjoy that movie. The bit with the dude and the florescent lighting made one guy throw up. Also: A boys father is killed by a landmine. Years later, while working as a clerk in a video store, a stray shot from a passing gunfight hits him and leaves him with a bullet lodged in his skull. He loses his job and his house, and falls in with a small community of down-and-outs. By chance, he finds the the two companies that produced the explosives and the munitions that have caused him so much grief and, with the help of his new friends, sets about bringing them down. Oh, and it's a comedy, in case that wasn't obvious. It's beautifully shot and has some brilliant, laugh out loud moments. Watch it or I'll kill you.
