Any good Vietnam war movies that aren't: Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, We were soldiers, Deer Hunter, or Apocalypse Now?
Hamburger Hill 'nuff said.
Any good psychologicol horror films? Some jump scares allowed, as long as the scariness/horror doesn't rely solely on them.
Jacob's Ladder The Machinist The Shining Misery Se7en 1408 Videodrome I guess some of these are debatable since psychological horror is quite a vague term, but I've seen and would recommend them all.
Try watching The Cube trilogy, it's pretty good.

I'm looking for some good martial arts movie but the trick is - without much of a jumping and over the top impossible attacks. Something more grounded in reality, heavier, more brutal (I've already saw The Raid: Redemption)

Tom-Yum-Goong was good too, don't watch the US cut.

South Korea have some cool gangster movies with a lot of fight scenes. The Man From Nowhere Oldboy A Dirty Carnival Sunflower A bittersweet life
I need another TV show to watch. Preferably on a similar level to The Wire, Treme, Twin Peaks, Breaking Bad or Oz in quality and must have an overarching plot-line and not just be a problem of the week sort of thing. I don't really mind the theme but something crime/mystery based would be best. [editline]14th March 2013[/editline] Also I would prefer something that actually has some kind of conclusion and didn't get cancelled halfway through a story arc.
Can anyone recommend a feel-good (I guess) animated movie, in the same kind of genre like Brave or Rise of the Guardians? Wreck-It Ralph
Wreck-It Ralph
Saw it the other day unfortunately, thanks though.

Beginning of the first season is mediocre, but it gets better later with every episode up to season 3 and 4 which are on par with the series you mentioned. If you don't mind shorter seasons, I recommend british TV series. "The Shadow Line" and "Luther" might be what you're looking for.
Any nice movies out there right now? They shouldn't be too violent, but still good movies. I was thinking Life of Pi, if that was still out there. Thanks :)
Life of Pi is out on DVD/Blu-Ray next Tuesday- in the US, anyway. I enjoyed it.

While Firefly is a great show, it really doesn't meet his criteria. Sadly. Goddamn Fox. [editline]15th March 2013[/editline]
Saw it the other day unfortunately, thanks though.
Spirited Away

I'm looking for some good espionage/suspense/political things/ ??? (I have no idea what genre these would fit into); Doesn't focus on the action as much as the policy side of things. Stuff like: -Patriot Games -Clear and Present Danger -Spy Games -Sneakers -The Devil's Own Pretty much all the ones I've watched; I'm trying to find Air Force One and Firewall
I want some good documentaries to watch on a few subjects including The American Civil War, The Spanish American War, Ancient Rome, and Gladiators. Any other sort of historical subject would be interesting also.

Need some funny comedies (that are actually funny). Some movies I'd like them to be similar to would be Office Space, The Big Lebowski, and a few others. I don't mind older films like late 80s or 90s. Just no Adam Sandler shit. Or Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn or Steve Carell. Also no soft-core porn like American Pie

Are there any shows suspenseful like Prison Break?
I am currently going through Stargate SG-1, currently up to season 9. Recommend it to anyone, great Sc-fi show.
