I really enjoyed Princess Mononoke and Grave of the Fireflies recently, which were particularly well made and good looking. They're big Studio Ghibli productions though, you may have seen them already.

Yea I might have been a little ambiguous about what I wanted, basically any movie that has it's world and/or characters drawn by a really good artist.

But yea I've seen pretty much every Studio Ghibli movie except Nausica which The_J_Hat mentioned and tales of earthsea. So I might check those out since they seem to fit the criteria very well.

The deal is that I really love these kinds of movies so I've seen pretty much all of them, but I'm always looking for any that I might've missed. Every film you've mentioned so far fit what I am looking for even though I've seen them so thanks anyway.

American horror movies have been boring lately. Too predicable and not particularly scary. Gore just doesn't do it for me anymore. Now I'm into Japanese horror movies. A Monster Movie like the American 1998 Godzilla or Cloverfield would be awesome. I'm a huge fan of these kind of movies but I dont know any other movies that feature giant monsters rampaging through cities (except the japanese Godzilla but I dont really like that one).
