Alien Pandorum
this is it? do u even watch movies scrub?
It's not really his fault. I asked a similar question before but I got movies that are already well known and I've already watched. There's a severe lack of space horror films today, well, good ones anyway
watched sunshine(2007) yesterday, reminded me of event horizon. pretty good
Sunshine wasn't entirely based around horror like Event Horizon. Besides it was recommended a few pages back when I asked the same question. Like you gotta specifically say what you wanna watch. I thought you meant horror taking place in outer space. [editline]26th April 2013[/editline] Since you liked Sunshine, you should check out Tarkovsky's Solaris if you haven't already.
I'm looking for science fiction movies. It has to be at least semi-hard science fiction, no Star Wars-style fantasy movies set in space and no dystopian settings like Children of Men. I've already seen (and liked): I, Robot, Surrogates, Minority Report, Gattaca, AI and Bicentennial Man.

I think he's trying to say that Drive sucks, which is wrong.
Any good movies on the American Civil War?
Glory
There's always 'Glory'. I didn't like 'Gettysburg' all that much personally but give it a watch. Same with 'Gods and Generals'. 'Gone with the wind' takes place during the civil war but as you know, it doesn't entirely focus on the war. Still good though.

Looking for movies during Accident Japan/Asia/Korea that are well done and well made
accident? do you mean ancient?
Looking for movies during Accident Japan/Asia/Korea that are well done and well made
Yojimbo Sanjuro Seven Samurai These are specifically samurai movies (arguably among the best ever made) but I suppose they fit those criteria.

You should also watch Red Cliff Part 1 and 2 Romance of the Three kingdoms tv series Zatoichi series (if not bothered, 2003 is good to watch) Kurosawa's films Hero Curse of the Golden Flower The King and the Clown
I just wanted to commend you for not suggesting The Last Samurai
Your commendations are much appreciated Mr. Parrot. That movie lacked invincible white man Tom Cruise showing who's boss with his bad ass samurai skills.
13 assassins is really good [editline]29th April 2013[/editline] just look at the fucking cover, you can tell it's good

It is 8 hours long, so remember to take a break every hour and a half while watching it
I just wanted to commend you for not suggesting The Last Samurai
I'll be honest, I almost recommended it, but then I realized he wanted an ancient setting.
Can someone recommend me a movie?
... Any movie? Well, first one that popped up in my folder was Boyz n the Hood (1991). It's a quite intriguing good feel-good/feel-bad movie that pretty much started the "hood" trope in Hollywood, and it's evident GTA: San Andreas has picked up so many cues from this film.
