Looking for something like Pan's Labyrinth, so basically adult-fantasy/surreal movies

The Devil's Backbone
I'm still getting over being rejected a few months back, and whenever I watch TV and see happy couples it makes me too bummed to function and it's pissing me off. Do you guys know any movies related to rejection that can make me feel better cathartically?

Most would recommend Eternal Sunshine but seriously, don't do it. Well... you may as well for the fuck of it but I wouldn't. :-)

I saw a biopic of Ted Bundy which was simply called 'Bundy' a while ago. That might make you feel a bit better about your ex. Just don't go on a rampage afterwards.
Maybe I should note that by "rejected" I mean that there was never a relationship in the first place, just a (now kind of awkward) friendship

Bundy is definitely a film for you comrade.
You could try porn.

That's not the direction I'm looking in, but thanks for the input.
I saw Silver Linings Playbook earlier and the ending sort of brought in my "aw shit this reminds me of my brain" mood, which is what I'm looking for, but it was just one little scene of stuff and I need a whole movie full of it. I'm thinking 500 Days of Summer because I saw a bit of it and it might stir up some sadness. It would actually be Cool if I found a movie that would move me to tears. I haven't cried in a long time and I think that would really help.
I typed this on my iPod so I apologize if this is hard to read. Also it's late and I'm tired.
My friend Frank who has lady parts says to watch The Notebook.

It's helped me in the past.

It's been a while since i expressed feelings
Are there any more top-tier awesome space movies like sunshine, moon, breakout, pandorum, or event horizon?

You could always try out the oldies but goldies: '2001 A Space Odyseey' and 'Solaris' (Tarkovsky's one not the Soderbergh one )
Maybe 'Apollo 13' if you don't mind non-fiction space movies
'Contact' is pretty cool but it doesn't take place in 'outer-space' all that much. It still is heavily related to extraterrestrials and etc... The book by Carl Sagan is better IMO.
'Wall-E' works surprisingly well for me so it might work for you
Maybe 'Forbidden Planet' if you don't mind old-school sci-fi flicks.
'Star Trek: The Motion Picture' ain't bad either. It's actually pretty complex if you compare it to the other star trek films on terms of sci fi ideas and etc...
'Titan AE' is also pretty good IMO but is it going too far towards space adventure films? So I dunno if this movie fits or not

All of them suck compared to this majestic work of art though

Seen all of those except Titan AE
Seen all of those except Titan AE
It's pretty good but I was wary of recommending it because it's more space adventure than hard sci fi.
If you liked Apollo 13, you could always try out 'The Right Stuff'
Maybe 'Space Cowboys' if you don't mind some cheesiness
If you like cheesiness, there's always 'The Last Star Fighter'
Other films that I remember now start to dip in quality and I have no guarantee that you'll like them but you could check them out if they seem interesting and you have time to spare.
Like 'Mission to Mars', 'Outland', 'Silent Running', 'Dark Star', 'Black Hole' and 'Love'
Sorry if none fit your fancy
Hell, there's even Saturn V, but I heard it was pretty bad.
can anyone lead me to movies that rely and or emphasize on atmosphere? Just visually and audibly striking movies that perhaps don't always rely on too much dialogue and stuff, but just visuals, camera work, and sound design.
I know Drive is supposed to be something like that, but I haven't seen it yet, but it's high on my list for movies I will see soon.

btw I already have seen Eraserhead, that's probably what sparked my interest and love for movies that kind of go that direction, although I don't necessarily want to see only movies that go far off the scale towards extremism in that style.

Yeah, Drive is definitely like that. You might also want to check out Valhalla Rising.
I've recently discovered the name of crime drama's sub-genre I really liked but never knew it's own kind - whodunit (type of drama where audience is able to solve the plot by given throughout the film hints).
I'm already after Clue, Identity, Usual Suspects, TTSS, The Girl with Dragon Tattoo. I'm looking for others, classics but new ones too.

Try out 'wild things'. Matt Dillon and Kevin bacon supported by some eye candy for the boys has a few twists and turns. The acting is a bit hammy in places but the overall experience is quite satisfying.
Argentine film 'Nine queens' would be my wild card.
Alright. I really need a psycho thriller that will fuck my shit for tonight.
I'd like to avoid old flicks, and stick to "newer" ones.
Make my night, FP.
Recommend me good Asian cinema. The movies can be about anything.

Anything? Recently saw this Chinese one: Hua Mulan. Found it pretty interesting since I had only seen the Disney version previously.
If you haven't already you really need to see Kung Fu Hustle
I also remember liking the Hong Kong horror movie The Eye - As per usual the Asian original is scarier than the American remake.
