There's the original cyberpunk, Blade Runner. Be sure to watch the Final Cut.

Jackie Brown is quite uplifting. The Royal Tenenbaums or any other Wes Anderson film.
Charlie Chaplin's City Lights is pretty much an all round great uplifting film.
