To me, it isn't so much the visual bit that bothers me.

Yeah, it's a lot of corn syrup and latex.

What bothers me is that people come up with this stuff, and dedicated enough time and money to actually produce it and ship it to the public. The other part that bothers me is I can't honestly figure out why people are into this kind of stuff. It just seems to me that there's no real point to stuff like this, and it's just a really detailed expression of someone's morbid fascination with...whatever you want to call that stuff.
