Idk, those ones are even classified on wikipedia as "gore slasher" films. I did decide to put Necromentia on (which I'm watching right now), because it's not focused on gore, more on psychological horror. Kinda reminds me of Hellraiser so far.
This series of clips was entertaining just because of how ridiculous and over the top most of those movies are, but I wouldn't really find myself watching many of them all the way through.

Then wikipedia is terrible because it's not "slasher" at all. It's more "Avant Garde Freak Gore Torture"
The slasher part wasn't really my point. Over the top gore can be entertaining, but when you cross the threshold to movies where the entire time people are getting their fingernails ripped out and their skin peeled back slowly, you've crossed over into what is essentially a gore-porn genre that's made for people who get off to that kind of shit. I'd hardly call it artistic.
Hell, slasher films are more entertaining (at least to me because I don't get a gore-boner) because they're usually filled with paper-thin characters that you're not supposed to really care that much about who all get slaughtered in entertaining ways. I'm all for character development, but if you're going to watch movies where they develop characters well just to have their faces cut off as slow as possible, then I think you've got a bit of a torture fetish, needless to say.

Well, i thought Mermaid in the Manhole was pretty good, though i couldn't understand it, reading the plot resumes made it REALLY FUCKED UP. Still gets disgusting as ever.
Best part is that it gets worse every film he counts down, but most viewers don't seem to get further than the 49 body fuck.

Not what I was saying. I was arguing that it's more twisted fap material than it is "artsy". I mean, sure, anything you perceive as art is art and all that nonsense, but I'm talking about the intent of it. It's either to shock people or to turn people on. I mean, some of the shit's hilarious, and downright interesting, but you cannot deny in any way or form that some of it just had to have been made by twisted people for twisted people. I'm talking about the ones like the board rape and shit, all these snuff-esque films about people being tortured to death.

I don't understand why you see it as sexual imagery, except in the scenes where sex is actually involved.
To me it looks like you're concluding that since you don't like it, all the people who do must be getting bizarre sexual pleasure out of it. It has no artistic merit so therefore it can only be someone's obscure fetish

I'm really referring to all the movies that are completely focused on the concept of people being brutally tortured. I don't really have anything else to say on it, but please do provide me with an artistic analogy of a gore-torture movie if you have one, because I'm genuinely interested to hear what it may be.
