Guinea Pig 2 is way better than Guinea Pig 1. :colbert:
Wow what the fuck these are all like snuff films.
*needle through the eye* NOPE. Also what the fuck is the point of these movies?
#35 made me laugh my balls off. Some of the others made me cringe, which is an impressive feat.
*needle through the eye* NOPE. Also what the fuck is the point of these movies?
Mainly for artistic expression and pushing bounderies.
:wtc: Done watching first Part, i'm about to puke...
Mainly for artistic expression and pushing bounderies.
Lol. I like horror films, but I'd have to say that the true purpose of films like these is so people with weird fetishes can wack it to them.

Actually come to think of it.. you're kind of right. But I see it's trying to be artistic rather than freak people out for the sake of it.
I just find myself impressed by the effects, it must take a lot of effort.
I just find myself impressed by the effects, it must take a lot of effort.
True. It's surprisingly freaky sometimes. I mean, things like Saw are a bit blatent, but the Guinea Pig movies are horribly realistic.

I did decide to put Necromentia on (which I'm watching right now), because it's not focused on gore, more on psychological horror. Kinda reminds me of Hellraiser so far. This series of clips was entertaining just because of how ridiculous and over the top most of those movies are, but I wouldn't really find myself watching many of them all the way through.
Idk, those ones are even classified on wikipedia as "gore slasher" films.
Then wikipedia is terrible because it's not "slasher" at all. It's more "Avant Garde Freak Gore Torture"
The slasher part wasn't really my point. Over the top gore can be entertaining, but when you cross the threshold to movies where the entire time people are getting their fingernails ripped out and their skin peeled back slowly, you've crossed over into what is essentially a gore-porn genre that's made for people who get off to that kind of shit. I'd hardly call it artistic. Hell, slasher films are more entertaining (at least to me because I don't get a gore-boner) because they're usually filled with paper-thin characters that you're not supposed to really care that much about who all get slaughtered in entertaining ways. I'm all for character development, but if you're going to watch movies where they develop characters well just to have their faces cut off as slow as possible, then I think you've got a bit of a torture fetish, needless to say.

And I like avant-garde films, but to be honest I don't think gore films can be very "avant garde" since they're following a pretty standard format. Which would be something like "show as many cringe-worthy things as possible with all of our budget going into the realism in gore".
I don't watch a whole lot of gore-porn anyway. It's just how I saw those movies to be. Salo wasn't made solely to shock.
Well I'll admit I haven't seen that or Guinea Pig, so I'll hold my tongue on that until I have.
I wonder if he has Slaughtered Vomit Dolls, Slow Torture Puke Chamber :v: Those are awesome. Oh and Fetus
Watched Guinea Pig 3 yesterday. Is hilarious :v:
I love the Guinea Pig series. Disgusting shit though.
I love the Guinea Pig series. Disgusting shit though.
Are the ones after 3 any good?
Are the ones after 3 any good?
Well, i thought Mermaid in the Manhole was pretty good, though i couldn't understand it, reading the plot resumes made it REALLY FUCKED UP. Still gets disgusting as ever.
Best part is that it gets worse every film he counts down, but most viewers don't seem to get further than the 49 body fuck. Oh my fucking god the necrophilia in part 2 is way... way fucking worse

[editline]23rd May 2011[/editline] And the one with Ichi The Killer just made me giggle
I don't like it so everyone who does is a perverted freak
You don't like it. Leave it at that don't be a knob.
I don't like it so everyone who does is a perverted freak
Not what I was saying. I was arguing that it's more twisted fap material than it is "artsy". I mean, sure, anything you perceive as art is art and all that nonsense, but I'm talking about the intent of it. It's either to shock people or to turn people on. I mean, some of the shit's hilarious, and downright interesting, but you cannot deny in any way or form that some of it just had to have been made by twisted people for twisted people. I'm talking about the ones like the board rape and shit, all these snuff-esque films about people being tortured to death. I'm not offended by the content of those videos or anything, I watched it all the way through, but I can't see myself sitting through all those movies unless I was somehow excited or interested by the content. (the content being gore and rape) I did watch "Necromentia" though, and that was actually a pretty cool movie. But 90% of the films he shows are snuff film imitations.
I lol'd hard when i saw the ending of Aftermath.

To me it looks like you're concluding that since you don't like it, all the people who do must be getting bizarre sexual pleasure out of it. It has no artistic merit so therefore it can only be someone's obscure fetish
okay.. fuck that shit man.. i couldent get through even 15 seconds of the first part :smithicide: :psypop:

I don't really have anything else to say on it, but please do provide me with an artistic analogy of a gore-torture movie if you have one, because I'm genuinely interested to hear what it may be.
I lol'd hard when i saw the ending of Aftermath.
Those grunts, Hahaha. It sounds painful.
