Because it's real people casually smiling and fucking sticking screwdrivers in a guy's brain while he's still breathing. Sometimes the scariest thing to me is just the random stranger.
Seems no one's ever seen Predator before or they'd get the 'slack jawed faggots' joke. I guess it's just a case of desensitization perhaps, because nothing in these videos is in the slightest way disturbing or gross to me. I think it's the psychological factor of KNOWING it's not real that eliminates any sense of worry or disgust. If I knew that what I was seeing was actually real, I imagine I'd react differently... Just a case of having more emotional control perhaps.

Chances are right as we're speaking, someone is being brutally tortured in some of the sickest ways imaginable. Though what may be completely unauthentic in these films, is happening in the world around us.

I don't know, I still find psychologic horror more frightening than gore. It sure as hell is fucked up, but I just find the scenes meaningless and can't help but wonder what the fuck is wrong in the HEAD of directors like this. It's not art, it's not entertaining, it's not scary. It's just utterly pointless. ...this was my opinion up until the corpse fucking. Now I'm just confused.
