You have this thread, that thread is mine big boy. Is it really 125?
Okay then, you can focus on your otter thread, bro.
Creative Work That Doesn't Deserve A Thread - 3v3ryb0dy's accidental shitstorm Edition.
I found my pencil! So damn happy now.
So, I've got my comic idea worked out. The idea is that it takes place in a physical representation of someone's mind. Each character represents some sort of emotion or desire, like a giant amorphous and hideous beast that's sole purpose is to change itself into something less hideous, or a vast crowd of interconnected bodies that are in essence one creature pretending to be several. The story follows an old military doctor who assisted in human experiments, and a civilian woman living in the slums of a giant metropolis during a monstrous war. They awake inside the bowls of a fleshlike cyclopean city, on the outer rim of a gigantic wheel shaped cavern with a monolithic tower extending to the ceiling at it's center. Lead along by the disturbing denizens of the hellish pit, they have to reach the tower, believing it to be their only chance of escape. In order to reach the tower, the pair will have to contend not only with the creatures of the pit, they will have to deal with their own personal demons. I want to go for a sort of Dore/Beksinski feel. Sort of like a combination of these things. Idea reminds me alot of Silent Hill.
Idea reminds me alot of Silent Hill.
I might describe it as Silent Hill meets Zeno Clash. If I were a PR executive who snorted crack off of the breasts of ten thousand dollar hookers.
Reminds me, gotta get some hookers.
I would pay to read that. If you do it well of course.
I went on a DA daily deviation and slaughtered someone's use of the word "epic" because I can. Also, the amount of times "XD" was used in the comments made me vomit in my mouth a little bit.
And print me out a physical copy. [editline]18th January 2011[/editline] Chesty, would you be so kind to stop breaking my automerge?
I'll try :buddy:
Wow. Im' away for 12 hours and page still not full.
So.... I forgot my key again this morning. and guess what? I did not have my wallet, my cellphone, my unbrella, and etc. All I had was a book bag with a net book that is out of battery! I was even wearing a pair of shoes that is not anti-slip Frozen rain this morning, with a sheet of ice on the floor, haha~ What a wonderful weather for this terrific event. Woohoo~ I am smart, ain't I? I blame it on the lack of sleep... had 3.5hrs of sleep today... worked on a journal paper submission until 12:00 am this morning,(Been working on it throughout my 4-day weekend actually) SigGraph deadline of this year was last night. read 30+ pages of single spaced articles until 1:30 am, and typed up a 2-page response letter until 3:30 am. Thought I would fall right back to sleep after all the mental work, but Neither mare nor dream haunted me before dawn. 4:20 am was the last number I recollect from the clock. Woke up at 8:00 and headed to the entrepreneur class to hand in my hard-work response paper. It was when I stood in front of my own front door I realized that all my pockets are empty :D~ I wondered around my house for a short while. I had/have no clue what I was hoping to find... I thought I was doomed if I were to walk 10 blocks in this frozen rain with no umbrella and with pro-slip shoes. I had no wallet, no cellphone, no contact list, and nobody with me :D~ So, I placed my last line of hope on pressing the door bell or my own apartment... To the dismay of you all, My roommate, was home! So I was able to escape the locked-out crisis today. All, I just hate my short-term memory with guts. I just don't understand what I am doing sometimes. My body just acts on its own when I have something in mind. Like leaving the room without taking anything...
For fucks sake not this shit again. Tablet has decided to stop working. It started having symptoms I have seen in the past, such as a slight pause when I "click" with the pen. So I disconnected it and reconnected it. Nothing at all. Not responding to anything. Super. Time to have buckets of fun uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers 400 times.
What kind of tablet is it? [editline]18th January 2011[/editline] Wacom...
Yes and it has suddenly decided working again on its own. Thankfully. Last time it did this I reinstalled the drivers about 4 or 5 times... so frustrating and time-consuming.
I was more wondering what kind of Wacom :v: Or do you have a Wacom Yes?
Wacom Yes now with 100% more random failing! It's a Wacom Bamboo Pen
bamboozled
Me trusty Graphire3 has served me well for over four years.
