I almost never go to the meetings though as it is mostly undergrads :(
and we just watch animations all along.
They do offer tutorials, but why do I need an undergrad to teach me the basics of computer science while I am a graduate student in computer science myself xD~

In latest news: my parents are pissed cause I can't match months to their numbers.
I do all sorts of things in my school, related to my field of study or not xD
Rather than stick to one thing and lock myself onto it, I rather focus on multiple different things and do fairly well in each.
I believe, what I need from education is view of the world and networks of people.
I aim to be in the industry, so whatever I learn in detail will not be of use in industry.
A mindset that is able to learn new concepts is what I really want to obtain throughout my educational career.
I was in biomedical nanotechnology area, yet I am in computer science...
My parents don't care what I study as long as I am an engineer lol
The only area I haven't spent any of my time on, however, is music.
I can't even read music notes for goodness sake lol

I do whatever I like in school, and my parents don't care as long as I am an engineer.
I've been in multiple different fields as well.
I just want experiences from different areas as I want to enter the industry.
The industry doesn't care what you learned in classes, they are going to retrain you anyways.

I had a talk with my parents while I've been on winter break from the uni and I've decided that after this year, I'm switching schools. I feel like I don't belong in art. I'm just not good at it. It might be fun to do in my spare time but full time? Not my thing really.
