Hey guys, I assume this would be the correct place to post.
I've been trying to get into concept artwork. I asked my friend who's an artist and he suggested to try drawing humans and animals. The thing is I DID try that, but they all look pretty damn shitty, disproportionate.
So I hope someone here can link me to a nice tutorial, suggest me some books.

Sometimes I wonder if there are a bunch of guys in Japan who watch all the Disney films in English with Japanese subs because watching the Japanese dubs is [i]just wrong[/i].
Also I accidentally shot ~200 photos of a family outing in RAW today. It was just inane point and shoot shit so I could have shot medium quality JPEGs and been fine.

Chill out maya, I was insulting the show inuyasha, not the movies. I merely stated they resemble the show since they have monsters or demons or whatever you want to name them.

Studio Ghibli creates relatively boring childrens movies. I have yet to see Moving Castle, Porco Rosso and whateverthename of that movie with the burning cities and shit was called.
They are by no means bad but are praised to skies and beyond for no reason. Generic normal childrens movies that are also made for adults to enjoy.

But the monster designs are seriously godlike, so is the animation. Just feels so bad that those good designs are thrown away on these childrens movies.
And Spirited Away had such a rushed and choppy ending it was beyond belief. As if someone looked at their watch and was like, "SHIT! THE MOVIE HAS TO END SOON! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?! WE CAN'T CUT AWAY WHAT WE'VE DONE SO FAR!"
Also I wath anime but It's not like I think it is the best thing in existence. It's mostly a bunch of low budgeted crap with tits and panties glued onto it.
And my taste in entertainment in art is usually pretty different from most people, not to say that what's normally percieved as good isn't percieved as good by me. But I more often than not like what others dislike and dislike what other people likes.

See, there you use the argument I just said in that very post your quoting.
Blood =/= mature and for adult.
By this logic children stories with trolls threatening to eat children should be classified as adult stories.
The movies are just displaying human nature and nature acting as it is. It's not raw violence for violence's sake. It is natural violence teaching the kids a bit about how life is.
It's 7+ movies.
