Fuck yes! I got to meet Turisas, and they signed my shirt
That's fucking awesome. How much were the shirts?
At Soundwave they were a ripoff, $45. Everything there was, cost me 12 fucking dollars for a can of burbon and cola, $5 for a bottle of water, and that was fter I had paid $160 for a ticket. I bought mine online from the Turisas store last year. Cost me $20 with $8 postage The only decent band was Turisas, but they were worth $160 if you ask me
I paid $50 for my Maiden shirt last year.
Yea, well, I don't have a job and am poor as fuck
why would anyone pay more than twenty dollars for a shirt
Fuck yes! I got to meet Turisas, and they signed my shirt
Oh hey I have that shirt. Not Signed though :saddowns:

Saw rammstein last night and they were ace but I fucking forgot earplugs again and i'm still a bit deaf. I'm just going to shell out on some fancy musician-grade ones so I'll be more likely to remember them because frankly i like being able to hear things
Alright alright, enough of all this shit. Let's get some real fucking metal in here
Ignorance.
Contributing. I strongly recomend this split and the New Cobra album Lethal Strike!

Does anyone else think that Ensiferum's latest few albums have had a wild west feel? Take Iron for example, it is very wild west, and Stone Cold Metal, the middle whistling part is very wild west feeling
i don't really like ensiferum so sorry i can't back you up on that
So, after borrowing a Metallica album from a friend, I have discovered I really, really like metal. I have never really listened to metal until recently. My current favorite Metallica tracks are Fuel, Better than You, King Nothing, The Memory Remains, Motorbreath and Dyers End, if that would help find out what niche of this genre I would be really in to. I am more so interested in the fast paced and guitar-centric songs. Can anyone suggest some bands? If there is such a thing as folk-punk-metal, I want to be all over that.

Metallica's earlier stuff is thrash metal. Load/Reload is more hard rock. If you like thrash, then Megadeth, Anthrax, and Slayer are a must. Other bands of note are Sodom, Kreator, Overkill, Testament, Vio-Lence, Dark Angel, and Death Angel. I don't know about Folk-punk metal, but you'll probably be interested in folk metal. Check out Eluveitie, Korpiklaani, Moonsorrow, and Tyr.
and you have to listen to Kate Bush
Ladies and Gentlemen. I present you, the savior of metal. [editline]7th March 2012[/editline] Oh god, what's up with the doublebass obsession, seriously?
why did i subject myself to that

He didn't even split the drums into four separate tracks to allow individual mixing, or have the guitar be on separate left and right channels.
lol okay so what? [editline]7th March 2012[/editline]
So, after borrowing a Metallica album from a friend, I have discovered I really, really like metal. I guess the murphys are folky. Folk punk is less sing-songy pub anthems and more junkies with acoustic guitars. This is folk punk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OviWbd8Z7Qo
