I've only gotten into the genre this year. Sunn O))) is really fantastic and I'm working slowly through Earth's discography beginning to end.

hey kyle you might be interested to know that a year ago I moved to the Twin City's (where Disturbed is from) and talked to one of the guys that booked them at a big venue down here. Apparently this band was ran by a super cool guy that hosted a local metal show and ran a record store, etc. He told some really cool stories. If I ever have the time, I'll see if I can record an interview with him about them, or something similar. not nearly enough is known about this great band or this amazing record.

I thought some of the other melodeath bands were just okay, but Amon Amarth is on a different level of amazing. I should probably give Twilight of the Thunder God or Surtur Rising another listen.

It's an improvement from Embryonic Anomaly, there seems to be less shitty breakdowns. But I'll still never get why people love this band so god damn much.

It's more likely that Windir and the nazis both used some old painting. If not then they just stole it because it looked Pagan. I really don't see anything that terrible screams nazi when it comes to Windir.
