Actually, that's a bit unfair, the drumming is fairly good too.

80's and 90's had a crapload of thrash metal. Thrash metal is fucking great. Nowadays we dont have many thrash metal bands. Now the spotlights go to metalcore and deathcore and coregrind and whatever else.
