I haven't even been alive for 20 years and I have only been listening to metal for about 5 years, so I haven't grown tired of those bands yet.

btw backwards looking hero-worship is the worst thing that can happen to a genre, just sayin'. Thrash was good and all, but it had its day and the general "scene" of metal moved on - and has done several times, as is natural for something we can still consider to be a living entity.
