Went of a little buying spree yesterday and bought the New Witchfinder General Album, the Angel Witch Album and the Blitzkrieg album because why not? (When I mean new I mean most recent)

Apparently it's really good and was just put back on print so I ordered it as soon as I can, can't wait, 800 pages of NWOBHM \m/, I would suggest anyone who likes NWOBHM to get it as in those 800 pages it's all about the bands of that era so it goes from your bands with tons of success and bands that had an amazing debut album but then disappeared off the face of the earth and why.

Sounds like they're going back to the Doom metal that they started playing, rather than that pansy melodic-atmospheric stuff that [i]Faith Divides Us Death Unites Us[/i] was. Good to hear. Those intro riffs are very tasty, in my opinion.

I was kind of hoping for a return to harsh vocals, too, but I think those are long dead and gone, never to return. The closest we're going to ever get is the intro of the song "Requiem," which are far from harsh... Oh well, at least Holmes doesn't sound like a mewling kitten on this album, unlike the last album. :v:
