Ever since I heard the sample of this cover, I wanted to hear the full song. Thank you for posting.
Well, I've been periodically listening to Anaal Nathrakh over the past few weeks, to see if it's possible for me to ever get into them, and I think I have gotten to that point.
I have realized that, at least on the album [i]Eschaton[/i], they sound remarkably like [i]Occult Medicine[/i]-era Yyrkoon - the guitars and drums have the same tone, the guitars have the same riffing style, and the non-screaming and non-clean vocals sound almost identical to Yyrkoon.
I absolutely love Yyrkoon, so I'm not sure how I couldn't really get into this. Maybe it's the fact that his screams don't have any actual words in them (90% sure they're just screams; they don't really release their lyrics, so I can't verify), which offset me because I like to try and pick out words in my harsh vocals. :v:
But yeah, I'm digging the Anaal Nathrakh.
