The drumming style of the new fella is kinda also a letdown (except for the song Dying Day which I found it somewhat reminiscent to Reynolds' drumming style)
I told my buddies that I'd try to help them spread their music when they managed to get a recording done.

i was in Germany a couple of weeks back, and I was in this second-hand CD/vinyl/videogame store which was pretty cool. I was looking through the extreme metal section and they put Nile on. Everyone else in the store looked really displeased

Well, the friend that introduced me to grindcore didn't mention any of them and I pretty much never encountered them through other means. I still like the genre, though, enough to be a fan.

Also, the Faceless have officially announced the release date for their new album, "Autotheism".
They play the intro from The Eidolon Reality at the end. I really love The Faceless for the spoken parts of their albums. The Hawking's style quote fits perfectly, I think I might like it more than the phone call from Planetary Duality I.
