I think Devin Townsend is really the only guy who makes metal with clean vocals that don't just sound horribly out of place.. I've yet to find any other metal with clean vocals that I can bare, usually bands will do clean "breaks" but he just kind of throws clean vocals in and makes them fit. i dunno, maybe it's because he can actually sing and doesn't just sound like a retarded monkey during clean vocals

Neat Wintersun and Eluveitie are both coming to Canada, not really a fan of Eluveitie with the whole flute and violin (though the bagpipes with the goat skull is sick) but it would probably be worth it for Wintersun alone.

i'm trying to find metal songs that actually aren't at all cheesy (i realize this is kinda hard to determine, since not just metal but most popular music in general is cheesy anyway!), just as something fun and like "is it really possible??" it's HARD dude! the first place i thought would be decent to look in was like crossover thrash or something but i'm not having much luck. you guys got any? :V
