I've only been once (this year) so I haven't really got an idea of what a weak vs a strong lineup is. I enjoyed a lot of the lineup this year though, discovered some awesome new stuff too. I don't mind Lamb of God tbh, not in large dosages though!
I'll probably go regardless of lineup, the atmosphere and people me and my mate ended up with was just epic.

I liked thrash from the time I started listening to metal, but started loving it when I got out into the local scene, so much great music, fucking raging bar shows and chill people.

Fucking sweet. Alestorm are coming to my city in January (Adelaide, in the Land Down Under) and a friend of mines brother plays in a local power metal band, long story short, they've been asked to open for Alestorm, pretty damn sweet if you ask me
Also, they couldn't afford to go see Alestorm, so now they're being paid too!

Saw them last month with Periphery dual headline :)
They covered Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody towards the end and you can tell from their most recent album they take a lot of influences from them. My favourite album is Colors.

Saw them last week opening for Epica. Not really my style, but not bad!
Having missed the opportunity to see Devin Townsend live last month, I feel obligated to catch him when he comes back around in February next year.. With Gojira, none the less. Pretty much my two favorite bands so if I miss both at the same time, I'll be very upset. I've already missed both of them at least once each so it would be total disappointment to miss seeing them both in one night.
