Don't know if any of you guys heard the new or somewhat new thrash band Dust Bolt, I picked up their album "Violent Demolition" and it was pretty fucking good. Here are two songs that I found to be pretty awesome, plus the album cover is pretty cool looking too.

Anyone heard of Neglected Fields? Black metal influenced tech death metal

Opeth may be having a North American tour this spring, and playing heavier songs! Nothing wrong with their lighter stuff, but I'd prefer a mix instead of just stuff like Heritage and Damnation.

Saw Wintersun and Eluveitie and the House of Blues in Hollywood last night. Fucking incredible.
Like everyone else, i'm just gonna leave a few random songs i've recently enjoyed here
Obliveon - From this Day Forward
Nocturnus - The Key
Vector - Outer Isolation
You sir have good taste, Obliveon especially, FTDF is probably one the greatest CD's I've listened too. Got these 3 artists on a playlist with Gorguts, Voivod, and !t.o.o.h! so far. I seriously need more original non-wankery tech-death, and a plus would be avante-garde.
Went to a Gorguts show a while ago, thought I'd post the WHOLE gig!

Supported by these guys who are not as veteran, but stood firmly with the giants aka. gorguts, and put on a fucking brilliant show.

Oh god they are coming to Canada in 2 weeks, was on the fence before but now I definitely want to see them, also just found out Testament and Overkill are coming in February, would be pretty awesome to go to that.

Have to admit Wintersun played a better show then Eluveitie, but they defiantly both worth seeing.

woo, just came back from our first outside-of-town gig. it was pretty tense at first, because we forgot the snare drum at the rehearsal space, but we managed to borrow one from a friend of a friend. even though there weren't that many people, everyone who was there was into it, and we got a decent pay.
