there are bands doing bmth covers now? cmon, don't these kids know the 10-year rule???
What a dumb and unnecessary rule...
the 10 year rule is a pretty legitimate rule really not just for covers but for when you start jocking shitty trends that sucked back then but have become cool now via age (see- mid 2000s bands jocking AtG style melodeath, past couple years nu metal has come back (and gone again lol) it needs to be a few years [editline]13th January 2013[/editline] it needs to be a fee years before doing that with bmth-- we've not even got to the MySpace gay music revival yet, of which bmth were at the end of/plus theyre still totally relevant now!! How does that make the 10 year rule legitimate?
That song has been out for 7 years anyways. I don't see why we need a fucking discussion on it. Plus, BMTH is nowhere near relevant anymore. They're complete and utter garbage. Post music please

Never posted in here before, but hey. Going to see Gojira on the 25th! It'll be my first metal show. I never really listened to much metal, but I really got into Opeth and Gojira recently thanks to my brother, and have slowly been discovering more and branching out. Feels good man.

Whatever happened to the good metal these days? I would agree with you that BMTH is the most important metal band that started all this wave of shit. Sorry, but that is the way I feel with metalcore.

So many great artists can be found by just searching a city near you or your own city as a tag on bandcamp. Aether Realm. Folk/Symphonic/Melodeath COLLOSUS. hardcore metallllll \m/ Bloody Hammers. "classic metal" mixed with occult, doom and stoner. These guys are fucking wonderful.

I reckon they'll be bigger than slayer are now in 20 years, since they're already absolutely massive for their target audience and outside it as well, with time a new generation of fans will appear alongside the millions of already existing ones and theyll be super big

The actual metal heads, the ones that listen to Metal from the 80's, don't listen to any of that stuff. In fact, it is on in every youtube comment, they are constantly getting insulted, which is kind of dumb, but hey, I don't disagree with them.
Finally, people posting bands that aren't dad metal. Shit gets old after a while.
