Soundwave? I'm catching them next Monday.
Yep, the lineup is shit and full of Nu metal tards, but I still forked out $160 to see them and Dragonforce, untill Dragonforce dropped out
u say slipknot - i say dragonforce!
\m/
They've probably been moved to stage 7. I think they have a different time slot because they're replacing Black Tide. That's how it was at Brisbane and Sydney.
I still can't find an Adelaide timetable, damn annoying
Wow. So many shitty bands.
Luckily, the few good bands (Machine Head, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Meshuggah, Gojira, and Turisas) are all on the same stage (Stage 4), so if, for some reason, I was forced to go, I wouldn't have to move around. :v:
lol cromags playing before enter shitkari, what a sadness
It hasn't been updated yet. But they should be playing around the same time Black Tide was scheduled to play.

Yea, pretty shitty lineup, and Turisas are on for only 30 minutes
Wait a second. Looking at the timetable, does it go down from 9-10pm (typo maybe) to finish at 11:30am? (Another typo?)
Or maybe it goes up and Turisas are on at 11am?
What do you guys think?
The gates for the festival opens at 11am. It ends at 10pm. So going up.
[editline]27th February 2012[/editline]
With the changes though, Turisas are playing around 11:40. Instead of 11. So that gives you time to get inside and everything.
Really strange layout
btw if anyone going was tempted to see Sisters of Mercy, don't. Saw them at sonisphere last year and on all accounds they suck live.
Go for cathedral though (and tell me all about it, I missed their last UK shows)
Yeah.
Most time tables go from the earliest time to the latest, downwards.
Pretty much every gig listing I've ever seen ever has been latest to earliest downwards. It's a cheap, easy way of showing "superiority"
augghhgh lock-up are playing Bloodstock yessss
So guess where I'm heading tomorrow.

(6666th post hurrrrrrr)
wow
On Friday went to Gigantour, wondering if anyone else saw them, and if Megadeth's audio sucked or if it was just my seats/show...
would be the venue's fault more than likely
would be the venue's fault more than likely
It was weird because everyone had great audio except Megadeth, but that makes sense still.
that or the audio guy was one of the ever-increasing portion of humanity that Dave Mustaine has managed to piss off.

They were okay-ish when I went to Gigantour. At first you couldn't hear dave's voice over everything else, but about 20 minutes in someone fixed it. Motorhead's audio was kinda meh, though. They sounded like a never ending explosion that raped your soul through your ear holes, which was still awesome even if you couldn't really make out much.
it's just super loud, motorhead. if you're not wearing ear protection get the fuck out
"but earplugs are for poser pussy fags!!!!111"
I hate those people.
when i saw Megadeth, Testament and Slayer a couple years back I was wearing plugs and it was still loud, and there was this kid (like 10 years old) sitting in front of me, no ear protection, sleeping through the entire show. i have no fucking idea how
I usually wear it but I forget sometimes.
Unfortunately the two loudest gigs I went to were those times :<
I didnt even think to bring earplugs to gigantour and I probably should have, as my hearing was severely impaired for the next day and a half.
I definitely think that seeing Melt Banana and Arabrot without earplugs permanently damaged my hearing to some extent
